I'm sure someone has already said this, but I'm grunkaing merrily along and just wanted to contribute something for once. Suspicious minds might point out that all these recipe requests and subsequent cheery answers and reposts of links to her site not only make everything look all sweetness and light and 'food' related, but also push *unfortunate* content down the timeline.

Solid twat activity from Jack over the last few days. I'm BUSY, but here for catchups when I can. Nothing like shitting all over decent educators, doubling down, waving lawyers around and then having to produce a guided apology to demonstrate who you truly are. Add in seasoning of *incredible* rudeness to someone who asked you to delete their personal and sensitive data and the news that lawyers have hypothetically been employed elsewhere too. Wow, I get that JM is a *master* of cognitive dissonance these days, but I wonder if there must be some tiny corner of her brain that gets all jittery when she looks in the mirror these days. Surely there is.

However, not one of these so called friends could she ring up for a chat. Not one could she drop in for a coffee. Not one could she meet for lunch. Not one could she go shopping with. Not one would come around to hers for dinner. Not one could she see a movie with. Not one would come around for an evening and stay over. Not one could she ring for a catch up. Not one could she have a gossip with. Not one would ever ask her to do anything with them socially.

Moving from the not-paella to the privacy thing again... Someone said she has no privacy notice on her website? Now at the very least, she collects people's email addresses on there, so is it not mandatory by law that she has one? In addition, she should by law be registered with the ICO and have paid a data protection fee as she handles and stores an awful lot of personal data. Even if we ignore the stories people send her, she has an employee with hands and data, all the names and addresses of her patrons, and we can only speculate as to how this data is stored... It looks to me like she's breaching data protection law in a number of ways .

Happy for more knowledgeable fraus to provide further education on the subject, but it doesn't look right to me at all?

I’m no fan of Owen Jones (still recovering from the podcast of them both together) but putting your desperation to have children out there for others to see (even jokingly) is very tough. Even joking about it will probably have made him feel vulnerable. This is something Jack just doesn’t understand.

I’ve put this paragraph behind a spoiler in case there are any fraus/herrs feeling that desperation who just don’t need this topic discussion at this time in the morning (or maybe ever). Honestly Jack has no comprehension of what it’s like to desperately want children but for personal circumstances to mean that it’s a rather more difficult journey (or even impossible). She doesn’t understand the vulnerability of putting that desire out there (whether publicly like OJ or even to close family/friends) & suggesting ways that it might be possible (knowing you’ll be judged by some). Jack has no idea how lucky she is & has no idea how painful that topic is for some people. Desire to have a child can be a deep primal urge for some people (also normal for it not to be-desire to be childless is also normal). Comments like hers about SB are a dagger to the hearts of people who navigate a more difficult path to parenthood (and she has someone she knows is navigating that path mentioned in the fucking tweet). Statements about her hatred of ‘adulting’, wanting SB to be away for periods of time & generally treating him like a nuisance are not only potentially damaging to her child but also potentially triggering for many people. She really needs to grow up and start being significantly more professional on her social media.

In essence, Jack needs to wake up and realise just how bloody lucky she is. Then maybe she’ll stop making ill thought out jokes about her son (who I have no doubt that she adores).

I had ovarian cancer in my mid 20s. The NHS really do their best to help you if you’ve not had kids yet, but didn’t know if the remaining ovary was viable.

Literally whilst I was in surgery the narc in my life made a huge song and dance of offering to be our surrogate to my husband. We were just coming to terms with the loss of an ovary, a cancer diagnosis, and emergency surgery. I didn’t know/believe the other would be viable so was coming to terms with the news of potentially never having any. Neither of us were remotely okay, so to centre yourself at a time like that as the saviour of someone is sick. It was the reason I ended that relationship because it was too far. I went to therapy after this to deal with all the cancer-y stuff and all I spoke about was this, it was SO fucked up. It’s not an altruistic act - IMO it’s insensitive like oh look pregnancy is such a non issue for me I can just pop them out for anyone recreationally. Not at all what you want to hear when your whole future feels like it’s a frozen fish left in a slow cooker for 48 hours. Tl;dr complete cunt behaviour from morons with no shame or social skills

Chaos grunk completed . Lord Jesus Christ’s scarf, that saga had me on the edge of my seat. As per usual, you have all articulated all of my thoughts already.

I said something to this effect when is appeared Jack was going to cosplay a long Covid saga (allegedly m’lud) & I think it’s becoming relevant again. Jack would (correctly) argue that she has never stated that she has a serious illness and certainly hasn’t lied that she has cancer or any other life threatening illness. However, making statements about her ‘current treatment’ being ‘exhausting’ so she requires rest soon after talking about lumps (she says she left too long) and CT scans will (rightly or wrongly) concern people who will likely think the worst.

She won’t have outright lied about anything but the language is misleading & she really needs to tread very carefully. She’s previously claimed to have illnesses and/or diagnoses that are very hard to disprove and has usually identified herself as part of groups of people who are marginalised so a) it’s hard to call her out without looking like a bigot and b) people don’t tend to care very much when people with those diagnoses/characteristics call her out.

It’s easy to say ‘I never said that’ about things that the majority of people don’t know much about or care much about. However, cancer is not one of those things. If people get the idea that she is seriously ill (particularly if they think it’s cancer) I don’t think it’ll matter to them if she’s never actually said she has it (so never actually truly lied). People will feel cheated regardless. It’s a dangerous game even dropping crumbs about something so serious and so easy to disprove. If she has any sense at all she’ll stop doing it.

Of course, it goes without saying that I wish Jack health and happiness. I sincerely hope she doesn’t have a serious illness. However, if she did, it would not make her immune to scrutiny and able to do/say whatever she likes.
