Oh that Mary Poppins thing?? Do you remember Wagner from Britain's Got Talent? A few years ago my mates got him to send me a happy birthday video. I have just re-watched it and its so, so funny. All done ironically mind! This may possibly 🔺 me as I can only think a small number of those videos were ever made...

I think Jack looks different in the insta recording as we are so used to seeing her photos on Twitter with her nose reshaped, teeth straightened and jaw facetuned. She looks no better or worse just different. One of the school mums does this and I almost didn't recognise her at the school gates after lockdown as she looked SO very different to the face on the photos I had been seeing on SM for the past year and my brain assumed she looked like this in real life.

Slightly off-topic but just had to share: After a quick google of the 'Hygge' book in the photo one comes across the amazon review, the books full title is: Little Book of Hygge - The Danish Way to Live Well. Anyway, first review on amazon had me giggling like a b..

I think the reason she does not prepare is so that when it goes to tit she can tell herself it was down to that. It is 100% not a lack of time.

I used to do a fair few speaking engagements, work shops and training sessions. Would prepare beforehand, and reflect afterwards.
I also have a Panic disorder, another long term MH diagnosis, and hideous experiences with Mental Health team. Not a brilliant excellent one in sight.
However I was passionate and knowledgeable about the subject.
Why keep inserting yourself into something for which you clearly have 0 aptitude for despite being at it for years and with media training to boot, on a subject it is plain to see you don't like or get any enjoyment from, and have no actual knowledge. She admits herself it was all learned from the back of tins and packets of cheap food.

She needs to either go back to basics and get a job in a kitchen, although she would last 2 minutes, go back to education, just get a "normal" job, a anything rather than keep this tit show going until it blows up in her face with a very big bang.

Or a tiny faded out whimper.

This is off topic and I apologise but my husband bought me one of these, it is a lot to deal with both visually and audibly, but I was stunned by it tbh but mainly because he’s really not au fait with pop culture things like this so asked if he even knew who Wagner was, he had no idea Wagner was a “thing” but he had somehow targeted him with an ad and that was clearly enough?

Jack joining forces with Wagner to doorstep us is content we can only dream of. Who will sponsor the Insta live tho 🥺

The Murder of Roger Ackroyd is a book I managed to read without spoilers and audibly gasped and read it again. It’s that good. Recommend.

The background story to this is just class - what was his thought process???

On topic - I have decided not to watch any future insta 'lives' as I shant boost her viewing figures so one of you will have to take one for the team and report back!

Can't understand why this wasn't done as an Instagram reel or TV?

She would have been able to film in advance and be more prepared/planned.
Her nerves might not have been as horrendous.
It would have been 100% more professional from DM's perspective.
DM have very few followers on that page so who was a Live benefitting exactly? As said many times before, it should have been on Jack's page to drive followers to their page...the whole thing doesn't make sense to me.

I agree with someone above though. I think she does this deliberately so she can demonstrate how cute/smol/adorable/nervous she is. We find it absurd but her followers will think its just SO CUTE and continue to pamper and praise her and can continue to scream for her to have more opportunities for hone her 'skills'. Everything she does is carefully calculated to maintain this persona to her squiggles. And to give her an excuse when people call her out for being rit. Does she think THAT MAN/MOM etc. don't get nerves? No, but they're professional people who have prepared, practised, trained themselves, and don't come across as a robotic monotone reading from a list and making excuses.

Upside down skinless and boneless chicken thighs. Honestly, beyond a bleeping joke!

I was an avid reader as a child and must've read every Agatha Christie going as my mum was a fan. I hate to say it but this birthday fiasco is inspiring me to pick up one of her novels again.
