I know people always wonder why Jordan (Dudey Rhino) got dropped from co-hosting the podcast with Jack anyway i guess we finally know…

I was listening to another podcast earlier that Jack was a guest on and he mentions that he’s been through a few co-hosts before finding a dynamic that works well.

Jack then tells the story of him deciding to drop Jordan because he was “too laddy” they had a football manager on that was managing a women’s team and Jordan wouldn’t let up confronting the guest that “Women’s football is shit” blah blah blah the usual misogynistic shite and kept bringing the chat back around to it and he said that was the final straw and that it didn’t reflect his or the pods views at all he says it was so bad he never even put the episode out.

That’s terrible !

Jack’s also mentioned that Jordan was quite nasty to Stevie in the past , and that Stevie felt quite uncomfortable around him ! I think it was a series of things that led to Jordan being removed from the podcast

He went from "I don't know many other YouTubers. My friends are the same people I've been mates with since school" to "I just can't hang out with people who aren't influencers any more because they're all so jealous of me."

He says his old videos he’s just grown up since and that’s why he doesn’t post that content anymore as he’s matured.

Its not that at all, he knows that to make the money he needs to get in with other Youtubers and be more mainstream. Which is what he’s done.

He said on the Rob Beckett podcast he was doing stand up opening for Max Fosh. Not seen that happen and Max on his tour now? Guessing the 888 money and free holiday was more important.

And I still can’t not hear him slurping spit every time he speaks now too.

The podcast is just falling flat for me now , I’d listen to every episode at one point no matter if I’ve heard of the guest or not (quite often not !) but now I only listen if the guest is known to me ie Rob Beckett or if Robbie is definitely on it

Listening to peoples meal deals and it only being rated well if it’s a chicken sandwich is getting old

Same. It’s just lazy now and so many other influencers like cal and chip doing podcasts that are more interesting

I feel like Jack is scrabbling around for big videos that just do not hit the mark. This video was done just for the sake of putting £10,000 in the thumbnail. The gogglebox and this are more what the sidemen can pull off which huge budgets.

I know Jack is desperate to get away from being a commentary channel, but that’s what people subscribed to. His Podcast is great I think that should he his main thing but he clearly wants to be a presenter or something. Simon Wilson who is a smaller channel did a better treasure hunt type video too.

So on the 5th he tweeted about being ill and said his test was negative
6th he posted after interviewing gazza

10th he said he’s on day 6 of having Covid. Now I’m not a genius but that’s not adding up?
Did he interview gazza knowing he had Covid? Gazza was then at the football? Or was the interview actually pre recorded

No , but he did a lateral flow test when he had symptoms which is not advised due to high percentage of false negatives , interviewed this old chap and then came home and did a PCR test which confirmed his lateral flow test was incorrect and he did go out while Covid positive

Re recent podcast - sorry I know this is a rave thread and I really do love 99% of the stuff jack puts out/says. But does anyone else find it really annoying how rude he is in the urban legends episodes? Stevie clearly puts a lot of effort into researching and I genuinely enjoy the stories, yet jack dismisses them before he’s even heard them. I know it’s a running gag and meant to be funny but I just find it really annoying. If he hates the urban legends so much he should stop wasting stevies time and stop doing these episodes.

I don’t even bother with the urban legend ones.

I really like stevie And it’s so obvious how Jack knows he wouldn’t be there without him. Jack seems to get through co hosts quickly. I like him but I really think he needs to make sure his ego doesn’t get ahead of him at some point as that’s what currently makes him likeable

Personally I do like Chi with a C, she has very blunt humour so not everyone will like her. I do agree though, her and her mum were quite boring to watch but then again that isn't her usual set up for YouTube so they were probably both out of their comfort zones. She was also probably the most known youtuber he had on there, sorry but I didn't actually know any of the others....

I think the new video wasn’t great personally. Had to sit and basically watch the whole josh pieters video that I’d already seen again. Also, unscripted he’s not that funny, I found his friend Alfie funnier.

Kind of felt like he’s trying to copy the sidemen recreating big shows but didn’t really work. Who was the girl with her mum? Bless them.

The whole point of gogglebox is it’s current and stuff that the public are currently watching. That josh pieters video is ages old and everyone that was in jacks video would have seen it already so it’s not initial reactions.

If he’s going to make it work I’d think he needs to be getting them out quicker and having stronger guests on. Needs big characters like KSI or Willne really

Lets also remember he has a girlfriend, I can't imagine she is happy for him to be constantly having her or mentioning her in videos / his talk show or whatever he does, but jesus christ he doesn't hide how he feels towards her does he? I love him too! He’s from my city - Norwich and he’s just so bloody down to earth and genuine. He made it when he pulled apart zoellas £50 advent calendar and also when Alfie deyes basically made a mockery of living on £1 a day. These chancers need a good public flogging now and then. Too big for their boots and totally lost a grip of reality, all for their personal gain.

Timeline is

he moaned about having symptoms on Twitter and saying how ill he was , Steve’s girlfriend also replied saying she was really ill too (when they’d been together , so clearly something contagious) …

he was told multiple times to take a Covid test and how those were symptoms .. he said he’d taken a lateral flow and it was negative but people rightly told him to take a PCR as you shouldnt take lateral flow when you have symptoms as they have a high false negative rate

After being told this , he deleted the tweet

the next day , he interviewed Gazza .. he’d deleted the tweet so knew he likely had Covid but this job was clearly too important

He got a PCR test following the interview and tested positive

I think partially it’s down to the fact that he gets paid for the podcast whereas he has to battle YouTube to get them to monetise his videos, when he uploads his videos are often demonetised instantly. Given the type of content he posts I can understand why. I did really laugh out loud at the vegan teacher rank bank though.

I don;t get why they are always demonetised? yeh he is criticising people but SO many other youtubers are?
