You can post individual occurrences to prove your point but your purse isn’t even full. Trans people are people, some people are criminals therefore some trans people will be criminals.

Yes there are individuals who stir the pot with their crap about not being able to get a gynaecology appointment when they have a pen but they don’t represent an entire community.

As an aside, I’m happy for people to have the right to live their lives how they want. Unisex bathrooms, unisex changing rooms, unisex grape counselling, unisex sport competitions etc should all be available so everyone can choose to access them if they need to but the problem is that is never enough for these people. They want access to women’s spaces. Nothing else is enough.

In their quest for their “trans rights” they are trying to take away women’s rights in the process. Like the rights to access single sex spaces without someone who labels themselves as a woman being able to enter that space. They arent just trying to get on with their lives.

And they are 100% erasing lesbian and gay people. Imagine trying to find a same sex partner and being told that you are transphobic for wanting to be with an actual woman instead of a person with a pen and a lifetime of male socialisation. It’s ridiculous.
How many trans people do you know irl? From your rhetoric I'm guessing none.

Your points are laughable. No one is forcing anyone to engage sexually with trans people. I honestly don't know where the majority of you people are getting your opinions from.

I'm guessing the Daily Mail.

Women should not be put in these bleeping horrific situations and be accused of transphobia in the process.

Please stop throwing women under the bus to ensure you look woke and accepting

Never thought I'd see the day that women seeking to protect legal, statutory protections for women would be challenged by other women. The hatred spewed by the trans lobby towards women asking for their hard fought for safe spaces to be protected is disgusting. Arguing that they need to feel safe whilst making sure an entire group of people don't feel safe is inherently selfish and ridiculous.

Posie, we know you’re here, you were banned from Mumsnet, banned from Facebook, banned from Twitter. You’ll be banned from Tattle too soon.

Jessica Yaniv is a problematic twit who doesn’t represent the entire trans community. But people like her will get headlines because it pushes the right buttons.

These links you are posting are isolated incidents involving trans people. They are horrific I agree but they do NOT represent all trans people.

There are horrific news stories around the world involving men, women, trans people, children. These individuals don't represent the entire human race.

These scare tactics are belittling and highly offensive. Instead of accepting people as humans you are shoving them into categories and assigning them beliefs and behaviours which are completely false.

I am not trying to be remotely 'woke' I am simply speaking out against your aggressive and hateful words.

Oh please. If these are the "rights" you think you're being stripped of, I hope to God you never step foot outside your house again because I can assure you women (and that includes trans women!) have far bigger things to be fighting for than bathrooms or whatever else it is. If someone wants to enter a women's public bathroom to perv on someone or do something heinous like grape someone, they are going to do it. Full stop. Stop using innocent trans people as a scapegoat for EVIL people who do EVIL things. Stop trying to mock the trans community by acting like it's made up of people who want to put on a dress and some makeup with the sole purpose of entering a public bathroom. Trans people want to enter a bathroom, pee, wash their hands and leave. How dare you all sit here and create this predatory image of them because of a couple of evil people who may take advantage of something in order to taint an entire community of people who simply want to live as themselves.

And stop with the whole "hatred" towards women thing you've got going on every time someone simply tries to point out the blatant bigotry. The only hatred here is the hatred being spewed at trans lives for absolutely no good reason at all.

Trans men are valid. Trans women are valid. They deserve the same rights and respect as every other person. There is no arguing that. Simple as.

Not at all. If we allow an encroachment of women and their spaces we have literally no where to go/escape/be safe.

The woke community need to wake the duck up.

A genuine question for those who think I'm a bigot and transphobic....if you were the beautician faced with waxing a pair of hairy balls what would you do?
Knowing full well if you say no you'll be accused of being transphobic and possibly losing your job. So what would you do?

When women assault other women, which happens on a daily basis, where’s your safe space?

LMAO what is this argument? Isn't that a beautician's job? As someone who has worked in a spa/beauty parlour and saw many naked bodies as it's, uh, part of the job... there is this thing called professionalism. I've waxed and dyed every crevice of someone regardless of their genitalia or gender or what have it, given that it's not just cis women who partake in self-care? Where's the logic in this? Cis men get Brazilian waxes all the time. This hypothetical is an odd one given that your example is one of a professional setting where balls and whatever else get waxed on a regular basis. If someone walks in with long, beautiful hair and a pretty dress on, and wants their balls waxed, they're getting their balls waxed and offered a glass of prosecco. LMAO?? This is bizarre.

don't agree with everything that's been said on here but I do have questions and concerns: yeah not all transgenders are sexual abusers, but what about the small minority of cis men who would see this as an opportunity to gain access to a woman's bathroom? what about trans women who also would do that, with their biological advantage alone I'd be doomed in a fight.

Is it a mental illness is it not? It's hard to understand it not being a neurological or psychological disorder of some sort? what is the root of this? why do some accept their bodies and others don't? I'm sorry but "it just doesn't feel right" seems like a non answer

I'm probably gonna get hate for this however these are valid concerns/questions that should be taken into account. I'm all for people living their lives comfortably but I would like answers.

- Also in regards to kids and children there's another problem: kids who don't associate with traditional gender normative toys are labelled by a lot of people as "trans" "probably trans" why label it? maybe the little boy who wears princess dresses might be gay, maybe he'll be straight and a fashion designer, maybe he is trans.

1. A beautician not trained to wax testicles won’t wax testicles.
2. A beautician trained to wax testicles will wax testicles.
3. They weren’t fired.
4. They didn’t have to wax anyone’s testicles.
5. Jessica Yaniv is problematic, not motivated by trans inclusion and not supported by most trans people.

Clear? Good.

I think Doreen should be reported for calling us white supremacists when this ignorant person doesn't have any idea of our race or background .

Still being a tolerant person I'll just ignore this nonsense and try to rise above it. 😇
a good portion of my country hates me because of the color of my skin so that was funny

If the 'isolated incident' happened to your daughter what would you do? If all trans women want to do is to take a pee why can't they use the male toilets? If the men there make them feel uncomfortable why don't they take it up with them?

They do deserve rights and respect like any other human. Just not at the expense of women and their rights.

If all trans people want to do is use the bathroom, why does it matter so much to them that they have access to women’s bathrooms to do so? Because it’s not about using the bathroom. It’s about getting everyone else to play make believe along with them. Otherwise they’d be quite happy with access to unisex or otherwise toilets.

"BUT what about the cis men who WOULD use this as an opportunity to access a women's bathroom?"

Then that's a cis men problem, not a trans problem. That's a problem to do with men constantly raping women no matter the setting. Men will grape women in broad daylight. Men will grape women they're in committed relationships with. As a survivor, it sickens me when other women use grape as an excuse for their bigotry towards the entire trans community. Men have had absolutely NO issues or setbacks raping women so maybe take this issue up with men instead of blaming trans people.

They do deserve rights and respect like any other human. Just not at the expense of women and their rights.

You say they deserve respect but then say they're playing "make believe". You clearly do not care about their rights or giving them respect. Trans women want access to women's bathrooms because they are women who want to take a goddamn pee.
