Was part of a bigger plan to re-structure the whole site and have more forums to split threads up. There's so many arguments on threads because threads that are so different appear next to each other.

I think that could be done without a rebrand though.

i understand that part, it just annoys me when someone posts something light-hearted but then adds something serious, and it goes into one post so you have no clue how to react to it and if you post something but then make a completely different point but it goes into the same post so the update is lost!

mods please keep the consecutive posts. it’s the only thing i remember fondly from our cafe fever dream

I couldn’t comment at all on 8.cafe as i wanted to say chattel is another word for personal possessions, so I wasn’t sure of using that name unfortunately.

Can I just say I hate the name 8 cafe and if it changed to that then I would not come back on here. Most tattlers are not trolls or spreading hate, most of the time we are providing social commentary. To call it 8 (which I am presuming is a play on hate) basically reaffirms this belief that we are all trolls and hateful people. Most of us are not, we just want a forum where we can comment freely and bring light to shady practices such as not declaring ads correctly, holding influencers to account to their own actions etc. Tattle fits this, it’s gossipy yet doesn’t promote hate. Hate cafe sounds so awful and to be honest I would be ashamed to be a member if that’s what I would be changed to.

We're back to Tattle due to popular demand apparently. But, (if we can be bothered) we need to copy all the posts over that were made on 8.cafe yesterday back to Tattle.

So Loony's posts stop on Monday on Tattle and all of the posts from yesterday are over on 8.cafe....
