Reading through the thread it's exactly like we're back in time ....I do think there will be a circuit break of some sort .
Agreed , it’s only a couple of days early . It will prevent the spread of more cases .I don't think schools will close. They seem adamant about keeping schools open this time around! I would like if they had close them for this coming week as there are just so many cases in my school among staff and students. Its not a nice place to be at the moment
I don't want them to close but at the same time if cases are over 10000 a day can't see them being left openI don't think schools will close. I think the school one is interesting. I don't have kids but if two parents are in jobs where they can't work from home or can't watch kids while they work it must be difficultI don't want them to close but at the same time if cases are over 10000 a day can't see them being left open
I saw the westin saying they are open as normal for residents after 8 so i think soDo the current curfew restrictions apply to hotel guests? I.e. if I'm staying at a hotel, can I eat and drink in the bars/restaurants after 8 o clock?
Thanks for answering! I have a nights stay booked in Donegal for just after Christmas but wouldn't want to go if we had to be back in our rooms at 8.I saw the westin saying they are open as normal for residents after 8 so i think so
Id double check if i were you - i have a feeling that depending on the occupancy rate the policy could varyThanks for answering! I have a nights stay booked in Donegal for just after Christmas but wouldn't want to go if we had to be back in our rooms at 8.
I gave them a call there - they confirmed its midnight closing for residents. So thats good.Id double check if i were you - i have a feeling that depending on the occupancy rate the policy could vary
I sincerely hope not. Hospital cases are dropping, people are not nearly as sick with this variant. The numbers are going to be horrific after Christmas because it seems like everyone is going to do whatever they want this Christmas because they didnt get to visit everyone they ever met last year.
They will have to do some sort of mini lockdown in January, the biggest problem are those who are just ignoring the rules now as they have been jabbed its grand. Yeah no not really.
