God they really are terrible! This series has been appalling! Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the last one
I have to admit that I think it's been a poor show all round this year - I haven't liked the designs from the majority of the challenges . From this week I only liked is the room that got stand out space ( gosh how bad that I can't even recall whose room it actually was).. The other's attempts were dismal . I can't help wonder if they are not being given enough budget and so they end up having to make poor design choices.. Emily at least mostly stopped with all the paper mache crap ( sorry for incorrect spelling ) but Duran just had to get " her signature squiggles " in every room. Personally I think Michelle was too kind to her - she should have gone at least 2 weeks before she did.
This series to me has felt more of " I'm a painter and decorater" than Interior Design Masters.
Also - I know quite a few people have said the prize isn't really suited to the show's premise.. (i.e decorate a range for whatever company).. I am in agreement with this. Again - this prize speaks to painter and decorator prize. I am not sure why the prize has changed - I find it hard to beleive that Michelle doesn't have contacts who would be interested in having a space redesigned by the winner.. Isn't that what this show is meant to be about? I also note the lack of Loz Lewellyn Bowen and Matthew "skinny pants and Loathers" Williamson have not featured and instead its been the woman who likes colour ( which again to me screams PAINTER AND DECORATOR judge).
ETA - Re Emily (name spelling again) - I think out of all the contestants she did make the most improvement and I think listened to what feedback she was given.

I love him - he just seems to take everything with a massive pinch of salt. Doesn't take himself at all seriously.
I think it might be because of the prize. Next are going to want low cost, big impact 'pieces'. So the leopard print 70s vibe, and the massive florals and pink will be great

There's loads of jewellery shops with expensive jewellery in their windows. I suppose they must spend more on security, special window glass etc than guitar shop could afford but did think it made the challenge unfair.
But jewellery is small and generally made of metal, it won't warp and fade in the sun?

I did love the "I contacted my local football club.... Tottenham Hotspur" this week, to become a football coach. I was expecting, I don't know, Horsted Keynes FC or something.
I'm torn about Emmely.
She didn't deserve to go out in the week she did - but she was on borrowed time and should've gone out in week one tbh (the kitchen blocking the view of the sea in the beach hut ffs, and papier mache spoons all over the place
