Sure. Ropinorole 0.2mg x 4 a day. Its mainly for parkinsons disease but used to treat RLS too. I was first prescribed gabapentin but had to change because one of the side effects. It was good tho but it gave me dry mouth. This is an anti epilepsy drug also used for RLS.

What I should have mentioned is there are no specific prescription meds for RSL but research and trials have found parkinsons and epilepsy meds have worked well for rsl.
Thanks for reply, pity there's not a a pill you can take for it, my oh has suffered for years, me I get it every few days, got it tonight.

Ive got it now, really pissing me off, have had a 'busy' day for me lately, I don't drink fizzy drinks, actually like water! have cut down to 4 mugs of tea a day , do smoke which I know can make it worse ( oh gave up in April, hasn't stop his rl)
It really is debilitating especially if it keeps you awake. The following day is ruined. I started making mistakes at work thru tiredness and fatigue. Also what can help relieve it on a temporary basis is if you put your legs against a cold surface, tiles, enamel bath, bag of frozen peas etc. Btw, I'm up this late because i fell asleep today not because of rls.

Can you buy Zopiclone 7.5mg online? I have 1 tablet left & my GP won’t prescribe me anymore, even though my last prescription was last year.
I don’t think so sorry. I know my GP only prescribes it for short term too. Have you ever tried magnesium citrate? It’s life changing for sleep/rest. Look up mag365 😘

Try a sleep mediation app (guided) they’re free on YouTube. Also, ugh the nurse works wonders as do nytol one a night. The herbal ones do nothing for me. But I use them infrequently to get me back into a routine. So I’d only use any tablets short term. Try the guided meditation on YouTube. It’s helped me massively. Jason Sealy has really good ones. It’s horrible when you can’t sleep x

I agree with the person who mentioned CBT oil.
I used to suffer badly with insomnia when I was at uni. The only thing that helped me was smoking weed or eating weed brownies. Please note this was in a time before it was was so specilised and strong.
So I wouldn’t tell you to smoke/eat weed but CBT will have the benefits and I know the sellers are normally very informative

My problem has always been feeling tired and sluggish in the afternoons and then getting a second wind in the evenings. I could never drop off before 3am. I have tried a lot of things that didn't work and have recently (june) resorted to a sleep hypnosis app, ...not to be confused with meditation app as the two are different. Its worked wonders for me so far.

Putting my sleep tips here in case anything I do can help others.
Try and take exercise earlier in the day, the endorphins from exercise will keep you awake if you do it too late
Don't eat foods that are harder to digest and try not to eat too late in the day. I generally have to avoid chocolate, bananas and heavy carbs 3-4 hours before sleep
Phone down 30 mins before sleep
I drink a cup of Pukka night time tea just before bed
A notebook beside the bed for brain dumping those annoying thoughts that come to you as soon as you get into bed
I have the Calm app and listen to sleep stories which are between 20-50 mind long and I often don't hear the end of the story

Have you tried the non herbal Nytol? The ones with diphenhydramine in them? They work well at making you drowsy and sleepy.

I’ve suffered for years with poor sleep and have tried it all believe me.

Esther Coren mentioned on Instagram once that during a stressful time she took these sleep gels found in the USA. I found some online first (not cheap but not too ridiculous) and they have changed my life. So happened to travel to the states pre COVID and stocked up from CVS so I have enough to last, I generally only take them 4 nights a week especially if I’ve got a big day at work due. Highly recommend and no side effects.

I am on Chapter 2 of the bestseller by Matthew Walker, called Why We Sleep. Will let you know how I get on....

It does state that caffeine is the No 1 cause of insomnia, takes so long to eliminate and varies from person to person.

I'm going to try these because I don't want to be taking prescription medication on a permenant basis. It states they are high absorbtion and good for muscle cramps and restless leg relief. The reviews seem very positive too. Fingers crossed. These are on amazon

What’s the strongest over the counter sleep aid? I honestly can’t deal with this anymore. It’s gotten worse and I cannot sleep at all. Any suggestions? Nytol gives me insane restless legs but god I’m even debating trying it again I’m so desperate
