How much would you pay for a puppy?

A lot my family and friends have rescues. Even my neighbour has one now. I would only buy from a rescue centre. So many rescues needing a loving home.

I was going to post about dogs. I really want one. I grew up with lots of dogs but haven't had one for at least 15 years. Rescues never seem possible with young kids and I have no interest in designer breeds costing thousands. I just want a mutt to be part of our family. I don't know how to get one.

Have you visited any rescue centres? I haven’t been to one for years but as far as I remember different dogs are suited to different families depending on their temperament and where they came from. There’s also websites where you can buy a dog (not from a breeder), some are free and some ask for a small amount. Obviously there’s a risk to that but a lot of people have to get rid of pets for innocent reasons
