I really don’t know why I still watch this programme. I think I keep giving it a chance to get better and be more like the olden days but I should accept it’s never going to happen 😔
I dipped out about 3 years ago and decided last year to start watching again. Managed to catch up with the help of people on here, but it was a hard slog to keep watching. So much so that I stopped again when the music festival with the train crash was being talked about, and I only started watching again when Sonny was in a wheelchair, and that was only because Brax was coming back! I missed the train crash, I missed Lacey killing that guy, I missed Kerry planting the drugs 🤣

I don't like this storyline with Alf. They're belittling age with it.
Exactly. I'd understand it if he had had an accident, or failed a renewal test or a medical, but he literally just forgot to renew his licence. And now Roo thinks hes senile and irresponsible.

I actually hate this Alf going senile storyline. Leave the poor bloke alone

I'm sick of hearing this new song of Eden's. It's in every episode!
I’m wondering if they have no budget for music licensing so have to keep playing that song! Is that the whole point of making the characters musicians 😂 Even Justin had a go once

What's happened to Mack's bump? Last week she was barely showing, now she's constantly cradling the bump and struggling to sit down or stand up. She's going to turn into one of those insufferable pregnant women who acts like they're the only woman in the world to have ever been pregnant.

Lexie moaning about covering the gym. Yeah, it's not what she signed up for, but it's for half a day, and she only seems reluctant because Tane broke up with Jo. She's conveniently forgotten Jo would be dead if Tane hadn't carried her out of the tunnel, and Jo broke up with Tane first anyway.

They're making a big thing out of Macks bump for the upcoming storyline.... I found a spoiler online on the back to the bay site.

Yeah saw the spoiler a while ago as i follow the home and away page on Instagram, but they are about 6 weeks ahead of us, so I end up seeing spoilers.
Mack does my head in a lot of the time, can't really explain why, I just find her annoying

I used to like Mack but less so since she got with Levi. The whole cheating aspect of their relationship turned me off and also I just don't like the guy. There are other characters I find more annoying than Mack, though - those Fowler sisters for a start.

I saw that spoiler on Instagram and I'm hoping it leads to a break-up, lol.

Mack losing the baby was so obvious. The constant talk about how happy they were, how great it's going to be having a baby, etc. is such a soap cliché. Miscarriage, baby loss and fertility issues do need more awareness, just stop the foreshadowing.

Plus the 7 month sized bump that grew overnight considering she was 16 weeks

Baby loss is an important subject but it's kind of the only storyline that Mack and Levi ever get now. And that makes it less impactful, IMO. I'd also say that I had a late stillbirth and had to go through labour even though I begged not to - I can't understand why she was given the surgical option.

I’m so sorry for your loss and the trauma of giving birth to a baby you couldn’t take home. I too, lost a baby in the third trimester. Utterly heartbreaking 💔

How can Lacey be so judgemental after all the stunts she's pulled?

And the way she was treating and talking about Tane really annoyed me. He's perfectly within his right to dump Jo after she pretty much left his ass to rot in jail.

And why is nobody pulling Jo up for her complete lack of loyalty to him when he was in jail? Somehow hes the bad one.

And in case you hadn't noticed, I hate Jo 🤣

I know we say it all the time, but Roo is such a pointless character. She came back, had a moan about how infirm Alf had become, and now she's pissing off again. So is Alf fine to take care of himself and run the caravan park, bait shop, surf club, bush rescue, etc. on his own again now, oh wise one? Stay in Merimbula, love, no one notices when you're not there!

AND she was the one that convinced him to come back from WA. One prison visit and was tapping out. I also don’t like Jo. Very shallow, but I think most of the characters are these days. Even the long term ones that the writers seem to completely forget their history or back stories.
