I know we say it all the time, but Roo is such a pointless character. She came back, had a moan about how infirm Alf had become, and now she's pissing off again. So is Alf fine to take care of himself and run the caravan park, bait shop, surf club, bush rescue, etc. on his own again now, oh wise one? Stay in Merimbula, love, no one notices when you're not there!

Roo needs to get a man and a life of her own. Maybe she should move into her own place instead of being in Alf's business 24/7. When David first joined the show, I thought something might have happened between them (during the Cohen storyline) but now they don't interact at all. Actually, Roo seems to be away from Summer Bay a lot recently and barely interacts with anyone beyond Alf, Maz and Leah.

I'm finding Eden increasingly annoying. I think a good storyline would be Jasmine arriving back in the Bay with Cash's secret child. IIRC correctly he was about to propose to her when she took off and never came back. Who is to say she wasn't secretly pregnant!

Something like that. I thought it was an ultimatum to get the Covid vaccine, so she left.

Same happened with Logan the doctor. I quite liked him, which surprised me as he was a bore as Josh Willis in Neighbours.

It was said at the time that both actors left the show due to failure to comply with Seven's vaccine mandate. Sam Frost later said she left the show because she wanted to prioritise her mental health, or something along those lines.

Anyway, I haven't heard anything about Sam Frost rejoining the show, just think it would be a good storyline with everything going on with Cash and Eden at the moment.

I’d agree. Eden can be annoying and childish at times, so that’d mix things up.

The new Doctor (Nicole Da Silva) was in another aussie series I loved "The Heart Guy", which got me through a nasty bout of illness a few summers ago. She's a good actress, I hope they give her a decent role in H & A and don't waste her.

I loved Logan! He and Mac were great together, their dialogue was snappy and realistic.
I think Sam Frost was trying for a baby and didn't want the vaccine for that reason?

I think Eden discussed that with Tane and he said it was completely different because Flick lied to him. Iirc Flick said she wanted a baby with him but then continued to take birth control.

Does anyone remember if Martha (Roo's daughter) has ever been mentioned at all since she went on the run?

She'd be a good character to bring back.

Kind of strange they never talk about her at all or wonder where in the world she is!

Random, but she just popped into my head when the David shooting reminded me of Jack Holden RIP.
