I don't think she looks lovely to be honest it just looks so unnatural and the makeup/hair styling do nothing for Holly it looks like she has her Dad's shorts on and borrowed her Mums makeup. I guess this may be her generation's style but I reckon she would look much better in a floaty boohoo style dress with maybe a braid in her hair.

To be honest, I just think it was something she did because she’s run out of content. She seemed uncomfortable throughout the majority of her sister ‘glowing her up’ and it all just seems so forced.

I think it probably stems from Holly having a lack of confidence in herself, and the fact she doesn’t know herself particularly well. She never takes the time in her day to just sit with herself and ENJOY life.... it’s always for productivity or work, or her YouTube. That post (and the video) is a perfect example of Holly trying to create a personality for herself when she just doesn’t have one outside of work. It’s sad really.

Oh, and this other thing I spotted on Holly’s sisters Instagram which REALLY got to me was her talking about ‘getting that summer bod’.... like she’s all about positivity and eating well and will still talk about a ‘summer bod’? Like, come on, you’re 25. Surely all body types are a ‘summer bod’?!!?😡

Emily seems naturally quite small built anyway the whole family are skinny. Emily has quite a manly figure anyway not sure what she means by summer bod ready maybe some of her crazy expensive hair removal routine

That whole IG post made me weirdly uneasy.
I feel like she doesn't know she doesn't need to do the 'instagram' poses with the awkward hands on hip, leg out, unsmiling stare. It just doesn't work on everybody, and makes her look unfriendly. She could just smile normally for the camera. She doesn't have the same personality as Emily so it's weird for her to copy her social media posing style.

Holly could really do with living with other people in a flatshare when she does her masters but we can all guess she will get a single studio and hide in her room. She is crying out for some variety and friendship.

She needs to be thrown into the real world, away from her controlling mother. I was very similar to her - sheltered, Oxbridge, etc. Then I moved to London after uni, into a flatshare with a load of Aussies and Kiwis who ripped the piss and showed me that I wasn't really so special or strange after all, and could function in the real world like a normal person. Such valuable lessons.

I feel like Ruby Granger could benefit from this sort of experience as well.

Did you watch here latest video ? She's recruiting tutors and she made it sound like an MLM pitch
She loooves sharing information and she's looking for ways to make tutoring available to people than can't afford it... She could make 1 or 2 educational videos but naah better give out a free session when she has cashed out enough.

She doesn't make educational content, she never did. She made uni vlogs. Idk how/why people sign up for her tutoring sessions

(In her ‘glow-up’ post she looks exactly like my 50yo aunt.. only younger)

Urgh her tutoring  You can tell how out of touch she is when she was talking about making it accessible. Giving away a free tutoring session once in a while is not going to help people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, who might need continual support to get to the same level as those who go to private schools with tutoring every week!! I am so interested to see how much of a tit show this will become.

Feel a bit sorry for her in that "glow up" Emily has a very specific style and I think Holly suits a less made up look, at least then she would be able to relax and have her normal big smile!

I agree. The whole video just had me questioning HOW she would actually make a difference without just taking money off those who will be working for her. She’ll have to do that if she wants enough money to be able to kickstart something as massive as accessible tutoring.

I think it’s silly she thinks that way, because from her current pricing at £40 an hour, it doesn’t really give out the impression she wants to make it accessible at all. It seems more like a response to sites like this who are shocked Holly thinks she has the right to charge that much in the first place.

Bearing in mind £40 an hour is waayyyy more than a driving lesson, how good does she think she is?! 😳

But of course she’s AMAZING because she graduated Cambridge at the top of her class and therefore is just fantastic at tutoring and helping others 🙄🙄🙄

I genuinely can’t believe she charges £40 an hour. She has no teaching qualifications or experience!!
I don’t doubt that she is incredibly intelligent in her field but I don’t think you can justify that!

when I watched her video about growing the tutoring business it Made me cringe. surely her audience is not people looking to be a tutor. And i just don’t know how much demand there is for untrained, young people, hired over the internet

Being good in a subject and trying to teach are completely different things... I’d love to hear from someone whom she tutored and see if she’s even good at it or just using her platform (and Cambridge) to make a quick buck

Yeah there is no way for people to review her tutoring! All websites where people advertise their tutoring allow people to leave reviews so the fact that Holly doesn't have that should throw up red flags for any prospective tutees.

I can't believe people actually fork out to be tutored by her! I had to take a semester-long module on teaching when I taught undergrads as part of my PhD studies. She's fresh out of undergrad herself, with zero teaching experience or training.

Yeah, I don't have a PhD but my best friend does and he charges waaaaaay less than £40 to tutor people in his subject. Holly is really trying to profit off being a Cambridge graduate.

I wonder whether she went to private school

I wonder whether she went to private school
I pretty sure she mentioned before she didn't, I think she went to Darford Girls Grammar School, I'm not sure what the entry criteria would be, is it just the 11+ exam? I don't have grammar schools where I live or grew up to understand the protocol
