She's still oil free as far as a I know. I would be interested in seeing Abbey Sharp (a nutritionist who mainly reviews other peoples what I eat in a day videos) reviewing Holly's diet. I feel like she usually has a sensible approach when talking about other peoples diets. I wonder how Holly would feel about an analysis of her diet by someone who's actually qualified
Would be super interesting indeed! She can’t deny a qualified persons opinion. I sometimes do wonder if she’s going down the nutrition route in order to be able to justify her own eating habits?

also the fact she’s very HCLF (high carb low large) is concerning. You mainly hear of people who want to loose weight doing HCLF diets, simply because you’re basically removing the essentials of what your body needs. If Holly wants to get better and stronger, she’s going to have to increase the fats/proteins. Eat more tofu, nut butters, hemp, edamame, chickpeas etc, oh, and just cook with oils Holly!!!

oh also notice how she blatantly ignored the comments on her Instagram post about people’s concerns etc. all comments on that post have no response and yet on her most recent one she’s replied 🙄🙄

I would never want to pressure her into seeking help. But what I wouldn't want is to see her become anorexic again. I do think she's possibly orthorexic, but you know, I just hope she's okay in all honesty.

yeah same. She needs to realise for herself that she needs the help and that needs to come from a place where she’s actually admitted it to herself properly!

Majority of the ‘concerned comments’ are exactly that. Wouldn’t want to see her get ill again/get worse, but i don’t think she’ll get any better without any professional help is all.

Yeah, I'd be interested in this as well. I think Abbey can be a bit full of it sometimes, but she's fairly objective in her reviews apart from the hyper-focus on protein. Though Abbey's protein obsession would probably be a good thing for Holly. What's bizarre to me is that their mum tends to eat the same way and the same dinners as H&E. I can't imagine anyone with non-disordered eating habits actually enjoying this way of eating. I'm vegan too but there's no way I'd get any satisfaction from eating perfect little portions of boiled carbs and veg with a smattering of chickpeas.

Totally agree with you on the Abbey front, she's good at analysing someones diet, but the fact some of her videos are over 40 min shows she can be a bit full of herself.

I think her parents aren't really cooks. Her parents never seemed to feed them proper home cooked meals (from one of her old video I remember her talking about having frozen chicken nuggets and such). So I don't think they've ever had interesting meals in their life, so these bland meals probably aren't too different from the meat and two veg they had before veganim. Also whenever Holly shows a shot of her fridge, it always amazes me how little food there is! They can't all be living off coconut water and soya milk!

How can anyone love shredded wheat 😬
pahaha she probs eats it because it’s just so bland and plain, and low in calories. Someone doing as much as she does just needs more. Idek how she’s so brainy without fuelling her brain!

I'm more interested in how she hasn't completely burned out yet.

Anyone else see on her story on insta that she’s doing spin now?? Like she damaged her ankle and can’t run but like oh yeah nah I won’t actually rest I’ll go cycle 🙄🙄 like ffs Holly. She just irritates and worries me in every single video now. It’s like she just doesn’t know how to function properly and it’s so worrying to see. Praying for the people who actually get inspired by her.

If she can't allow herself 1 day to just slob about on a sofa reading a book for once, then she needs help. We all need some time alone with our thoughts but also to allow our bodies to heal. Just caught up with the sister QandA...my oh my the "gremlin" talk was disturbing. Cute for a 12 year old but at 22, really quite odd to be publishing that kind of character out there when you are publicly trying to apply for masters programmes and potential jobs. We all have our quirks but you'd think you would think carefully about how you present yourself online.

It’s not surprising; both certainly have obsessive tendencies, a kind of addiction to being busy and seem socially juvenile at times. Neither have ever done an ‘having an utterly unproductive day in my life’ video but hell will freeze over before that happens, they probably wouldn’t know even what to do with themselves.

That’s what my biggest issue with the studytuber thing in general for me – they aren’t good influences on young girls, especially ones that feel conscious about their bodies and eating habits. There needs to be a better balance between studying/working, socialising and just doing normal things and having fun. There are a few lesser knowns out there that have a way better balance than Holly (and aren't still suffering from an ED) who can never let herself relax.

I wouldn’t be surprised if ruby actually got inspiration from holly and so suddenly decided to take up exercise and be more restrictive with food. Kind of funny/sad how even after an injury instead of actually assessing it and realising ‘hey, maybe I’ve been overdoing it and should just rest for a little bit’ nope, neither can help themselves.

I think she's been doing spin throughout lockdown. As long as she's not standing up on climbs, then it's a good low impact carido for her to keep up fitness and strength throughout her ankle recovery.
However she should be exercising less than before to help aid with recovery, so I hope she's not spinning every day. At least in her video when she was editing the vlog when she injured herself she was aware that she acted like an idiot, I hope it's taught her a lesson and she won't be so reckless in the future when it comes to pushing herself too hard through pains
