The manipulation and lying is what irritates me. I understand that you have to appeal to an audience in order to make money through social media, but that's different than outright lying. Especially because this whole situation makes them look like 2 idiots pushing 30 who cannot manage their finances. I know someone out there is going to fall for it, though.Latest IG post pretty much confirms it - she has started begging in earnest.
My fav is Angelo suggesting red bull. Didnt she say in one of earluer vlogs she is only gpung to consider sponsers that resonate with her.People commenting to try and get Adidas, Puma and Lululemon to sponsor a Hyrox athlete averaging 3,000 views on YouTube and 500 likes on Instagram reels is sending me![]()
I doubt it. For starters, they're choosing to beg and I suspect they have money that they'd rather not spend. Second, these are the same people that include farts and pooping in their vlogs for whatever reason. Their threshold for shame and embarrasment is much higher than the average person.I wonder if they feel uncomfortable about having to act like this.
At least she isnt asking her followers for money to fund her dream. You know what, the begging would actually be tolerable if they had just been upfront about it. And presumably she's worked with brands in the past that might be interested in working with her that she could have reached out to directly. I truly appreciate engagement baiting, but this has really annoyed me (for no good reason tbh)
I suspect we're no longer her target audience hahaha

There's nothing wrong with having a 9-5. Imo while Holly is finding success with Hyrox, I wonder how much worse this is going to make her ED because before they even started Hyrox she was already seemingly working out twice a day minimum 7 days a week.I just watched their new video of Holly’s race (which surprisingly I liked??) and it seems they’ll be announcing a sponsor soon. Even though Holly does grind my gears, it’s become less so recently. I’m happy that she’s found something to do other than sit in her room all day writing YouTube scripts or whatever it was that she was doing.
I just don’t get how it’s sustainable or interesting long term. I also don’t like how much shade they threw at having a 9-5 like most people. There's nothing wrong with having a 9-5. I’m not hating on a 9-5 either, i have one myself, but she just seemed so directionless. At least now she has a clear goal, which we’ve been talking about, seems to really work for her. I do worry about her ED too even if this seems like a good change on the surface. There's nothing wrong with having a 9-5. But a goal of training for a race, when most people in much more competitive things (ie olympians) juggle a full time job with also training. I don't at all get why she can't do both. I hope the best for her (him not so much, I think he's quite toxic) but it's not a good ideaI’m not hating on a 9-5 either, i have one myself, but she just seemed so directionless. Truly, she could have continued working for Ali while pursuing this, or some other remote role. However, I fear she's a bit of an essentialist and always will beBut a goal of training for a race, when most people in much more competitive things (ie olympians) juggle a full time job with also training. I don't buy that she quit her freelance position with Ali to focus on Hyrox. I think it was a combination of Holly realizing what it's like to be an adult for the first time and not enjoying it and letting Angelo call the shots. If you think about it, yes Holly has done many things that require being responsible and disciplined, but she has never had the real pressure of permanently living on her own and paying bills while working for someone else especially because she used to make quite a bit of money from youtube and as far as I know was only responsible for paying for uni and her additional wants that weren't provided for by her parents. That's a lot of income that she was free to do whatever she wanted with while she was beholden to no one.Truly, she could have continued working for Ali while pursuing this, or some other remote role. True , did she end up working full time with Ali? Or was it just part time.I totally agree, I don't think it was necessary for her to quit her job to get to Hyrox E15. She quit her job because she wanted to, lol.
