For anyone contemplating laser, please definitely wear the googles, make sure you don’t have tan or actual sun tan as it won’t work properly, and do some research before using any affiliate links she’s planning to post in the future. This is purely, utterly disgusting. Shameful. Just because you can talk about something online doesn't mean you should. The close-up of her rubbing herself was just plain vile. If this was my sister/friend/daughter I would be mortified. We all know that the no body-hair anywhere-thing is a trend and will probably be over in a couple of years. What is she going to do then, get affiliate links for merkins?
I know she's exploited every aspect of her life for youtube but pretty much getting your vag out to see if it brings in the views is something else. Nobody cares that you get your fanny lasered Helen, believe me!!
She's really fluffed what could have been a really informative video.
It's a shame that there was no real discussion about her choice to remove all her hair. It's a personal choice for everyone, but questioning why you feel like your body should look a certain way and being aware of any societal presaures is definitely worth acknowledging, especially for younger viewers if she has any.
A video broken down into clear segments could have been really good, for example:
Previous hair removal techniques and personal choices to remove body hair
Why she decided to get laser and considerations to be made (cost, the fact it's permanent)
WHY does she feel self conscious about it? Maybe make it clear that the person you're sleeping with/ other people seeing your body should never make you feel embarrassed about having body hair because it's normal and that removing it should always be your own decision
MAYBE EXPLAIN WHAT IPL IS!
What research she did and why she chose the clinic she went to
What to expect (to be fair she did show those weird clips)
How often she went and what changes she noticed every time (Even filmed after each appointment, which it looks like she intended to do at some point)
Anything else to be aware of/ that might be helpful to others before booking laser hair removal
Is she happy with the results/ would she recommend (again, her rubbing herself suggests that yes she is very happy)
Instead we get Helen sitting in her bed, wearing her daytime clothes, barely able to string a sentence together and then rubbing her crotch. The whole thing was badly prepared and lazy, but that's her brand these days so no surprise there. If you're going to talk about something and keep telling us you'll make a whole video about it then at least do it properly.
