A nasal flush is also good for sinuses. Available from boots #notanad. Also from amazon.
Did you have it done at a piercing shop?I got mine done for headaches, did they tell you its not 100% guaranteed? It doesn't always work, it didn't work for me
I still suffer headaches an migraines, but it's mostly now when am stressed or anxious, what stopped them all together wasn't the piercing but my diet, not saying it won't work for you but just a little warning that if it doesn't there's still a earing to take care off when it's done
Yes mine is often worse at night which is why I put it down to what I’ve eaten during the day but I did notice a big difference when I cut out sugar but I can never keep it up for long!Thank you so much. I’m in pain now would you believe. Going to pop chemist tomos and book drs x
Yes I do! I find myself slumping sometimes and try to sit up straight but I just find it so uncomfortable that I'm soon back where I was.Do you work at a desk? I have for years and I never sat correctly, I was always slouched or hunched over. I've got big boobs so I spent my life hunched over trying to hide them! I used to find it really hard to correct my posture and I also had terrible neck and shoulder pain but since walking over 10K a day everyday, the improvement has been vast! But also, I have dieted too and cut out a lot of crap and cut down on chocolate, sugar, dairy and wheat that I always thought made me sinusey and gave me headaches.
I've never been a big coffee drinker. I have one or 2 a day and I don't like fizzy drinks so I only ever drink water and I'm always well hydrated, so I know my headaches weren't from that. I do think they were from my diet and my bad posture. Also, getting out in the fresh air upto 3 times a day has definitely helped.
A lot of people who had coronavirus had bad headaches. Is anyone on here bothered by headaches?
I've had a bad headache since Saturday and it's not shifting. Tried taking some tablets etc. but nothing is helping. I don't see the point in going to the doctor as not much they can do at the moment with COVID.
Any suggestions on what could be causing it?
I have hormonal headaches before coming on my period but i have never experienced waking up in the morning With the pain at the front of my head there instantly. I’ve been fine this morning and afternoon. Just suddenly came on in the evening. I don’t notice the pain worse when i bend down. I’ve had earache aswell recently which i never normally do. It’s like my ear is tickling and i want to rub it - but i’ve stopped doing that because it’s obviously painful when the earache starts but only when i’ve rubbed my actual ear lol it sounds weird.Yes mine is often worse at night which is why I put it down to what I’ve eaten during the day but I did notice a big difference when I cut out sugar but I can never keep it up for long!
If it’s come out of nowhere you may have a sinus infection. Is the pain worse when you bend your head forward like if you were to touch your toes?

to be honest my diet isn’t mega healthy but i drink loads of water, probs need to keep diary of diet too.
I have awful posture too and weirdly someone at work suggested to me that might be the cause, but I dismissed it thinking posture wouldn't have that big an effect. I wonder if I should give it a go. It definitely sounds like being more active and upright has helped you!I looked up the Osteopath and apparently they can help if the headaches are down to posture. This is interesting to me as I have awful posture. I have been told by a Physio before that I need to sort my posture out. A masseur I had asked me if I get a lot of headaches when she felt how tense my neck and shoulder muscles were!
So last year, I started walking a lot and it's really helped me. Over xmas, I didn't walk as much and spent longer propped up in bed scrolling and I noticed it affected me again and I had a few headaches.
Same! The Physio I saw told me I need to 'move' more or I would end up with arthritis!Yes I do! I find myself slumping sometimes and try to sit up straight but I just find it so uncomfortable that I'm soon back where I was.
I don't think it's the weight itself they were meaning but more the diet, when I went onto a healthy eating diet an started clean eating to lose weight and then maintain it stopped the headaches as I was limiting the sugar I took, I don't think my weight mattered just what I was eating an drinking, I found when I ate more fruit an took in more water i would hardly get any, if I had a bad day where I just binged badly I'd have a killer of a headacheReviving this thread to ask if anyone has experience of visiting an osteopath about headaches? It's been suggested to me but I've also been advised to lose a significant amount of weight as that may help, so not sure whether the osteopath may say basically the same thing. Neuro scans all clear btw.
My friend did say this. Did you go to Drs for medication?Sounds more like sinus pain. I suffer terribly.
Paracetamol do nothing for my sinuses. Ibupofren is better. I didn’t like Sudafed as it made me feel sick.Oh really. Thats annoying . Ive had a bad head since i woke up. When i discussed it
To my friend she said her dr gave her co-codakol for her headaches which her dr said it was her sinuses too.
I Had work 2/10 but i did pop to the chemist to get an olbus inhaler and sudafed because it can help unblocking sinuses? took two sudafed and still feel my head pounding.
I don’t want to keep taking paracetamol.
Got to do blood test for dr . Lets hope it comes back with somethingYes I get hormonal headaches too.
I also get ear pain! Yours sounds a lot like mine. I think it does come from diet especially as mine went when I cut out crap!
