I have hormonal headaches before coming on my period but i have never experienced waking up in the morning With the pain at the front of my head there instantly. I’ve been fine this morning and afternoon. Just suddenly came on in the evening. I don’t notice the pain worse when i bend down. I’ve had earache aswell recently which i never normally do. It’s like my ear is tickling and i want to rub it - but i’ve stopped doing that because it’s obviously painful when the earache starts but only when i’ve rubbed my actual ear lol it sounds weird.
to be honest my diet isn’t mega healthy but i drink loads of water, probs need to keep diary of diet too.
Yes I get hormonal headaches too.

I also get ear pain! Yours sounds a lot like mine. I think it does come from diet especially as mine went when I cut out crap!

I agree with the methol/4head/tiger balm type rub. Really helps to relieve the headache for me. Also massage the pressure points.

Mine are usually temples, and in my eye sockets...

Pitching the bit of skin between your thumb and second finger is supposed to help too!

I have some good tips but will leave them tomorrow as my phone is about to die, this is my placer post so I come back

I’ve been having headaches and tried all sorts. Although I suffer with sinusitis, this headache has been off and on for a good month. Started taking an antihistamine every morning and it’s definitely eased. Wondered if it was hay fever connected.

I took my teenage daughter about her headaches and they did blood tests that came back with nothing so they just put them down to stress.

How's your head today? I'm sinusey due to what I ate at lunchtime!

I get tension migraines which hurt the left hand side of my head and my eye. I Try and avoid pills because I don’t want to become dependent on them or for them to stop working. I have found the following helps:
drinking a good amount of water
having a nap where possible
eating an apple (pink lady seems to work best for me but I’m just boujie)
putting solid coconut oil in my palm and placing the palm in the middle of my head (sort of where you pat your head but a bit further back)
putting a cold eye mask on my forehead (you can also use those bead packs you store in the fridge)
putting a cold eye mask on my neck

the eyes masks I have are from Primark so are not too costly. You can also get them from Poundland and Superdrug.

That's where my daughter gets her headaches. Dr didn't say they were migraines but I've always thought they were. They just put it down to stress but she gets it often and always on the left side and eye. She can't swallow pills! She still has to have Calpol even though she's an adult now!

I'll tell her your tips.

Thanks.

Oh really. Thats annoying . Ive had a bad head since i woke up. When i discussed it
To my friend she said her dr gave her co-codakol for her headaches which her dr said it was her sinuses too.
I Had work 2/10 but i did pop to the chemist to get an olbus inhaler and sudafed because it can help unblocking sinuses? took two sudafed and still feel my head pounding.
I don’t want to keep taking paracetamol.

Paracetamol do nothing for my sinuses. Ibupofren is better. I didn’t like Sudafed as it made me feel sick.

If you buy the olbas oil in liquid form you can put a few drops in steaming water and inhale with a towel over your head but be careful as it’s quite powerful!

Hope you get some relief soon x

Thank you . I will definitely try that too. I hope you feel better too xx

I saw this tip recently where you put a clothes peg on the skin between your thumb and finger as it’s a pressure point. I did try it and it’s quite painful but took my mind off of the migraine!

Reviving this thread to ask if anyone has experience of visiting an osteopath about headaches? It's been suggested to me but I've also been advised to lose a significant amount of weight as that may help, so not sure whether the osteopath may say basically the same thing. Neuro scans all clear btw.

Someone once told me to get a basin of warm/hot water an a bag of frozen peas an to stick my feet into the basin at the same time of putting the bag around the back of my neck, apparntly it draws the blood out your head an down to your feet as headaches are caused with too much blood in the head an it works instantly

I didn't know being overweight caused headaches? Sounds a bit bizarre!

Did they suggest how losing weight would help with headaches?

Personally I've had chronic headaches for years - before I lost a significant amount of weight and afterwards and it changed absolutely nothing about them for me.

I get headaches when the weather is bad. I haven't found a solution for them yet, sometimes they are awful.

I don't think it's the weight itself they were meaning but more the diet, when I went onto a healthy eating diet an started clean eating to lose weight and then maintain it stopped the headaches as I was limiting the sugar I took, I don't think my weight mattered just what I was eating an drinking, I found when I ate more fruit an took in more water i would hardly get any, if I had a bad day where I just binged badly I'd have a killer of a headache

I have always had headaches, but recently they have got worse and I live with a constant brain fog and now migraines. I am looking to have my daith pierced, but by someone who does it for headaches only. Their reviews are amazing so I'm hopeful.
