I get chronic migraines - not really full blown terrible ones that some seem to get (i.e. need to sit in the dark, vomiting etc) but just persistent headaches. I'm pretty sure mine are genetic as my mum and brother are the same. So sorry you're experiencing this.
Biggest causes of headaches are usually very simple things - not enough sleep, muscle tension, dehydration or hunger. Have you made any, even very basic, lifestyle changes? Cutting down on tea or coffee, not eating or starting to eat certain things? (Caffeine withdrawal can cause headaches)
I'd suggest some anadin, look up a quick neck stretch routine on youtube. If you can manage it, some exercise! (although if you're headache is really terrible that is probably not good idea!)
