The Sun news reporting Charles has offered olive branch and they will all be staying at a royal residence.
It's like when there's a big spider in the room, and you can't bring yourself to touch it.

You can tolerate it if you know exactly where it is and what it's up to.

It's when you know there's one there but you aren't sure where it is, or if it's likely to drop on you from the ceiling, that it's a problem.

Good afternoon Harry.
Your father has instructed me to tell you that he is pleased to offer you a royal residence for you and your family on the next visit.
Your previous home Frogmore Cottage is still vacant and he thought you might like to stay there to remember those first happy days of your marriage.
Unfortunately there has been some remodelling done recently so not all rooms are suitable but there will be adequate living space and two bedrooms.
It is currently unfurnished but the army have generously offered some camp beds and cooking equipment to remind you of your days in active service.

yours sniggeringly
secretary to his very very gracious majesty!

That's me done with the monarchy if the news is true. I won't defend them any more at all if H&M are allowed back in as easy as that after their truly disgusting behaviour.

It's not been the same without the late QEII anyway and even the shine has come off her for me since the Andrew revelations.

Glad my gran isn't here to see this, but she will be rolling in her grave today!

Amazing how when they are on their uppers they suddenly would like to stay at a Royal Palace. No doubt Insta photos will be legion and a new line inspired by said residence will be for sale afterwards.

She has likely realised they are nothing without a Royal connection so need to refresh it.

We need a “NO HE HASN’T” from BP. We could have another 3 weeks at least of this nonsense ….. knock it on the head now for goodness sake, everybody is sick of it! 😡
Rebecca's latest. If it comes from her, it's pretty much coming from BP.

I suspect only W&C's apartment at KP or Windsor Castle (all of it) will be 'secure' enough for Madam.

Didn't Hazbeen stay at Althorp once? For the Fellowes funeral?

Wonder if Uncle Charles and his latest Countess will oblige.

More like a cockroach best thrown out of the house far away, if you don't have the heart to crush it 😂

Great analogy though!

Lovely to hear from you again, I'll light a candle 🕯 for you..a nice one...

Thank you ❤🤗 really need it!

I lost my Mum a couple of weeks ago and she too, was a staunch royalist but her views were very different with KC.. We used to watch Dan w and lady c and then speak on the phone about it!! She would have been heartbroken if this is true. I also just wanted to put it out there that, whatever your opinion - Lady C is one of the most gracious people I’ve ever met! I had tickets for her ball for tomorrow and can’t bear to go; notwithstanding the fact my gown is still on the tailors dummy in my mums sewing room - I contacted her team to explain and she offered me a full refund and her sympathies. I’ve asked her to gift the tickets on and when I mentioned table placement etc she said to not be concerned.

I miss Queen Elizabeth.

I've never liked Lady C, but this is making me revise my opinion about her.

So sorry to hear about your mum. ♥

She was only in her late 60s, bless her.

I’m glad Lady C can be viewed slightly differently now - I know she’s a great divisive force!

Most of the current reporting frenzy is based on spin from H&M. If. You look at what is actually said there's very little that's definitive or different.

Harry has always been offered accommodation in a royal residence, but has refused and preferred to stay in hotels. It;s one reason (among many others) that I don't believe in his concerns about security.

DM reporting here that the Sussexes have been offered accommodation but no change in security https://archive.is/LZFpd

The palace position remains clear that all matters of security are for the Home Office to decide upon.
It is not the case that His Majesty plays, or could play, a determinant role in that process, nor has he made any private undertakings to his son.

Glad the Palace has clarified that. I think they have done well at grey-rocking the Sussexes, but some things need to be set straight.
