i’m not trolling, I just don’t have the faith in the Great British public that was given as a reason for the heat these two have had - that they’re duplicitous. But I’ve had a warning for derailing 😂😂😂😂 Back to it it m’laddos, slag em good.

I was just intrigued as what her motivations would be for this but....perhaps a bit too mild for this type of chat. I won’t miss them, I barely noticed them post wedding but it’s the news of the week I guess.

@121212 I love that you’ve come on here to troll us 😂 I like Boris but if you want to discuss him go look for his thread.

I don’t like Ginge, I marginally liked Cringe until I saw how stupid she is. So good riddance let them go to the Americas. Nobody here will miss them. Maybe you but not us
Sorry for derailing the conversation 😞

Thread suggestion #5 - Duke and Duchess of Greed

For that to happen, you realise Charles, William, George, Charlotte and Louis will *all* have to abdicate or come to harm?
Yes ofcourse I do, it was meant as tongue in cheek, sorry for not being clear in my previous post.

I wasn’t suggesting that she is the vanguard for black feminism, or saying anything much about her really in a wider sense. There are incredible black women doing everything they can for black causes. I am definitely aware that she isn’t someone I need to stick up for and she is highly unlikely to be reading any of this.

My point was that to show a picture of someone’s skin and then saying it isn’t dark enough, and that they effectively “weaponise their race” (which is what MOD said about Candice Braithwaite and she was roundly called out for being racist), is not a fair path to go down. I don’t know enough about Meghan or her family or what she does or doesn’t do for the black community - but what I don’t think is acceptable is for anyone to start picking apart whether or not she’s properly black, or has the right to be identified in whatever way because of the lighter tone/colour of her skin.

I’m absolutely no expert on race, not many people are, it’s a famously complex subject. What I do think, though, is that nobody has the right to say that Meghan isn’t quite black enough, that she enhances her blackness with bronzer for some nefarious purpose, or uses her race when it suits her. That’s not for anyone to say, it’s an insult that goes a step too far and makes me feel sick. Whatever anyone thinks of her behaviour and personality is just subjective, I couldn’t care less, opinion is opinion and it’s all fine and it’s the reason we’re here discussing these things. I think “she’s only black when it suits her, look how pale her legs are, she’s pretending to be black so she can call us racists” is below the belt.
If it’s a lie it’s definitely below the belt I’m with you there for sure, and people have the right to bronze up or fake tan it’s just most people match up it’s the same when you see IG influencers with a tan face and white hands it’s looks weird and they often get called out for it, does it really matter tho that’s the point ?

Well - France is a republic. Have you seen the presidential couple? They have been together since he was 15 and she (his teacher at the time) 39. Talk about weirdos...
Yes but you can get shot of them, we are stuck with the unelected royal family

And yet the second they were told "Stand back!", they both took a step forward and continued to make their way forward, until the palace staff caught up to them!

That to me was so (passively) defiant. Even their positioning at the door I think was meant to make it so that they could sort of force their way in, as they knew that they were not supposed to be there. They knew the media were there and they both placed themselves where they could be seen by the cameras, thinking nobody would want to make a spectacle of them with the press there. Well, Charles did 🤣

I have to say I didn't cringe at all when I saw the clip, I was delighted they were escorted out, if for nothing else than their insolence.
What video is that? And what happened?

BBC News at Six have just started Bucks Palace has ordered staff to make Harry and Meghan's plan "work"!

Do you think the RF might try to pay Megha to go away so they can keep Harry and Archie??
I think that'll play into Meghan's hands. She'll just say "they don't like me" etc

Yes, we can get rid of them, but from experience, the next ones will also be weirdos. Maybe a different kind, but still just as bad, if not worse. It's not the regime per se, it's that whoever is in power should always be watched closely and be held accountable.

Erm are we going to have another royal family then???? Who will it be, will we adopt the scandnavian ones or will Danny Dyer be our next sovereign? Once you get rid of a monarchy its very rare for them to return, your argument is more pertinent regarding the election of politicians.
It's in @Jelly Bean 's posting, you can click on her name in the quote in my posting, it will take you to it.
