I'm worried that something terrible is going to happen to Claire. Catherine wouldn't forgive herself if they weren't on speaking terms and she dies/is caught in the TLR crossfire.

Does anyone else find it frustrating everytime Catherine goes "there's things you don't know." I get why and it's very telling that for someone so blunt and open when communicating, the entire situation with Becky is too terrible and harrowing for her to speak about. She needs to be crystal clear with Ryan, I know she wasn't planning on it until he's an adult but at this point she needs to spell out what TLR has done, to Ann as well as Becky. If he still wants to see his father after knowing all that then Tommy can have him, but it obviously won't go that way.
I yelled at the TV 'Tell us what they are then!' 😜

Wow only got to watch the episode this morning - it was interesting to hear from James Norton that the lag that cut his hair is an actual barber and they spent a fun 40 minutes filming that scene!

Even though I had watched Series 1 and 2, I've been binging them again as it has definitely helped refresh my memory with the characters.

I’m a Scottish grannie, so what riled me last night was this. There’s poor Alison, working in the dark replacing an alternator, probably as a favour , and she was given a cup of tea with even a chocolate digestive. Come do me a favour hen, you’d likely get a nice wee homemade scone and a seat at the fire.😂

Catherine says to Anne: "Then, come Wednesday, I'm having tea with the Chief Con, and Thursday, you can all kiss my ample a goodbye."

Feels too much like foreshadowing to me! 😩

I don’t think Catherine will reveal what she and her ex know about the other details. That would be gratuitous and there’s clearly an element of protecting B’s right to privacy and dignity driving that position. Even with family.

Catherine will definitely think Claire lied about Ryan going to school after the visits to Sheffield and sadly I think their relationship will deteriorate more

I think the teachers mum will find the phone when she’s watching the kids after school and question him/perhaps tell the police. Escalating it from a missing persons case

There was an article about her in the DM yesterday that suggested she’d suffered with depression so maybe she prefers to stay out of the talk show circuit 😊

It’s here…

Yeah, she very rarely gives interviews or does promo. It's not for everyone; some actors prefer to just do their work and don't want any part of the stuff that comes with it. And that's fair enough I think.

And she's at a level these days where she doesn't have to do it, she's enough of a name, that she can make those contractual requests and get away with it if she wants.

You generally know if a show has Sarah Lancashire in it, it's gonna be good and she's gonna be great. She sells the show without doing promo work.

Has anyone seen Kiri? Debating whether to watch that or Last Tango In Halifax.

The ending was a bit "urgent exit required" (Line of Duty) Entertaining but not realistic.

Sarah can do no wrong though, she's fantastic.

Yeah he does. Go on YouTube and look him up in clips from Dancin’ Thru the Dark from years ago!
he was also in that cucumber programme with the chief constable. With Freddie fox. That was also really good.

I hope they leave it with an ending where they could possibly do another series! One where she’s still alive!
I’ve just binged the whole lot and James Norton and Sara Lancashire are both just absolutely incredible actors. I could watch it over and over.

This is very interesting: they’ve filmed four different endings, so even the cast don't know how it ends! 😱

I wonder if the BBC will ever make the alternative endings available?
I remember when Sally wrote At Home with the Braithwaites, she killed off one character but had written two versions (one where the character lived). Wonder if it's the Producers that decide which version is used?
