I’ve got a good feeling about Ryan, i think the rose tinted specs have well and truly come off. He didn’t look impressed in the courtroom, he looked pissed off or at least unsure. And although he ignored Claire and Neil about going to Leeds, it’s not like he kicked off and ranted and raved about it. He’s so young bless him 🥲🥲

I think he will because they showed him touching the door handle with his hand before putting the gloves on. While it would look like an open and shut case to most people - CID can't just make assumptions. Plus they made a point of the detective telling Hepworth that he would access Joanna's phone records and we know she's been calling Faisal.

Also glad they didn’t spend anytime following Faisal during that episode, it was better that they took the missing person angle to build tension rather than us having to watch him stumbling around like an oaf during the clean up, and it’ll be interesting to see what Rob does now he’s discovered the body.

And of course, Faisal can offer the info that he was rear-ended by Hepworth who seemed very preoccupied.

Until…..Catherine finds out that the pills she confiscated from Joanna came from Faisal’s pharmacy!

The difference is that tv is often far fetched and ridiculous. Hence why it wouldn’t be shocking for Hepworth to go down for his wife’s murder.

He might even try to hide the body because he knows people will think it’s him.

I'm guessing next week we'll get bit of Tommy on the run and they'll start wrapping up the PE/Pharmacist/Wife story in time for the big showdown with the main cast in the last episode. The Gangster stuff was kind of wrapped up as the two grunts didn't mess up Tommy's escape so won't face the wrath of the boss
