Obviously the actor is extremely attractive, and obviously doesn’t translate to real life at all…but I can’t help but laugh that everyone is thirsting after Tommy Lee Royce after all this and Catherine telling anyone who’ll listen what an absolute demon he is and S2 being about the consequences wrought by random women thinking he is fit hahaha. all he had to do was shave, have a haircut and put on a suit and suddenly we’re all it took one person to say it and now everyone’s at it

Ahhh loved the tension of that episode. So taut. Up there with DotDotDot Cotton making an emergency exit. So is Tommy off to Spain or is he gonna be a surprise guest at Catherine's leaving do?

(Maybe) getting (nearly) away with murder has made Faisal suddenly cocky and calm... Asking Hepworth if something's bothering him...he's flying way too close to the sun.

So many great lines tonight:

Also that bit about the whip round even getting donations from people Catherine's arrested.
The announcer here in NI, before the show started said "we've had a week to stew over everything."

Just finished watching the entire thing for the first time and boy am I obsessed. My mums been on at me to watch it for years - I tried to watch it previously but the policewoman getting run over repeatedly by TLR in series 1 disturbed me enough to quit watching. Decided to give it a try again now since it was starting again (skipped that policewoman scene this time!) and finished it all in the space of a few days. I'm from the North West and used to work up near Huddersfield a few years ago, so it's nice to recognise lots of the place names.

Also does anyone else miss the little old police station they worked in during s1 and s2? Now they're in a big shiny glass building - it feels weird to see them all in a posh police station.

Just a (probably not very relevant) observation - there was no reason for them to cut to Rob's mum when he was on the phone to her unless she features in the last two episodes and plays a more important part in that story

Also, in retrospect the reveal about Joanne being Rob's pupil explains her character a bit more - she'd been groomed since she was a teenager then went from school straight into an abusive marriage (and I guess was quite a bit younger than we originally thought?) - and so there might have been a bit of arrested development going in there. The clumsy way she tried to manipulate Faisel, for example was a bit like something a teenager would do

I would absolutely binge if it was all available in one go. However, I like that it’s not. I like to have time to process the episode and love reading peoples theories on what everything may mean. Plus it helps build the excitement and tension.

I’ve gotta say I don’t think James Nortons half as gorgeous with his real accent, it’s gotta be the Yorkshire one for me
