That's a great channel and how it should be doneSo this week Hannah admits its clear hotels are watching her videos
Although she is very moany this week, for the price point I dont disagree with her on most stuff. Price wise its similar price to The Ritz.
Speaking of. Bright sun travels (great channel) have just done a review of the ritz
She clearly didnt know/look up who Gerald Scarfe is, or the fact he did the art design for Hercules Disney movie
Exactly.Well I don't know about all you, but my opinions and "hate" stays on this site! So she is either reading here, or more people are sending her stuff on top of what we discuss and most of us are ex-fans.
God please don't tell me she's becoming one of those awful kind of influencersDid anyone see her stories? She answered a supposed fan question about how she copes will all the haterz. Apparently haters are ‘unhappy’. Maybe they’re just calling you out luv?!

onThe screen caps on her videos are very misleading. I thought she was going to this Alice in Wonderland esque hotel but it was bland, weird, and blasé. I felt empty inside. And her room tours are too long.
I only found her a couple of months ago. From skimming through this thread, I get the feeling it'll be moved from the "rave about" section pretty soon 🫣on
That's why I've mostly stopped watching them - when videos go over half an hour, they have to be really interesting for me to spend the time watching them and her vlogs aren't. I miss the titting about London and showing us what was new in the shops for 20 minutes, or the afternoon tea ones.
I only started watching her last year - for those who've watched since the beginning, how much has she (and her accent!) changed, as I see this regularly commented on?
Definitely way too long, haven't watched and I doubt I will. I don't know enough about YouTube but does anyone know why she makes such long videos? Does she earn more this way? I thought there was a minimum length to get ads but most other creators I watch have videos at max 30 mins, is there a benefit for her of them being so long? The screen caps on her videos are very misleading. Indeed @Mark81 and providing that history near the beginning of her review would make it much more interesting. I am frequently surprised at her lack of knowledge. Was it only a few weeks ago, when she paused for a cocktail in the Rosewood Bar, with its Gerald Scarfe cartoons, that she didn’t know his work. Some basic online research would provide this information. Scarfe is also interesting in that he married the actress Jane Asher, the girlfriend of the young Paul McCartney, who inspired some of his most beautiful lyrics … so there would be many interesting anecdotes to tell the would-be visitor to London. The cost of the KitKat in the mini bar is so prosaic.I was really surprised that someone so into branding, design and fashion didnt know the hotels history with Ian Schrager and Philippe Starck (who also did Paramount and Hudson hotels in NYC among many others) who are responsible for the design of the hotel.
Its also why it kind of looked dated as they were at their peak late 90s/early 00s.
Yeah that surprised me too for a Disney fan and someone who works for Disney. Him doing the art for Hercules is pretty widely known. We are the same generation so its not an age thing, and all this stuff falls within her interests so I don't get itIndeed @Mark81 and providing that history near the beginning of her review would make it much more interesting. The food looked awful tbh, but her sticking her finger in the gravyI just watched the latest review of a Sunday Roast at Gordon Ramsay's Heddon Street Kitchen. It was a bit of a whingefest, and she seemed very disappointed with her meal. The first serving arrived cold, and she sent it back. A new plate arrived, and the meat was tough, the roast potatoes were overseasoned, and the mashed-up vegetables were wretch-inducing. Her sticky toffee pudding dessert was tolerable, although she was not happy that they served it while she was using the bathroom. She complained about the meal, which was deducted from her bill. It did sound disappointing, to be honest. My primary objection here was the way she was touching her food (the first plate) when it arrived. Fingering the Yorkshire pudding and saying it was cold and sticking her finger into the jug of gravy was a tad uncouth IMHO. Hope she doesn't do that at the Savoy Grill!![]()
