), Jaydon etc. I like unusual names, I hate common "top 10" names, the ones where the child is shouted on and at least 5 kids turn their heads and say "what?!".
They're the parents and if they like it that's all that matters.

and there was 3 of us in my year at school 
I just know there’s a Year 2 class out there right now with three Ottilies, two Noahs and at least one River/Lake/Reservoir
Heard a kid called Ocean in public and thought it sounded stupid, haven't heard a River but probably would sound nearly as bad

I thought you were a Susan to be honest. That's sad you were bullied because of your name. Quite a lot of old fashioned names are becoming popular now. I can understand why you gave your kids common names when you were bullied for your old fashioned name.
As a fellow Rachel I didn’t meet another until I was 18! My mum loved 90s names for me and my three sisters long after they went out of fashion.
my daughters name is at the lower end of the top 100, totally normal classic sounding but won’t be likely to be more than one in a class. My partner loved Amelia and Olivia which I wasn’t going to do, and my SIL called hers Dottie which is the worse end of obscure in my opinion. Kids have to live with their names for life. Don’t saddle them with something rit.

Worse thing for me is my elder siblings all have lovely normal names but I was named after a recently deceased relative with an old fashioned name! I did used to complain to my mother as to why she saddled me with it
