I may be wrong myself so correct me if so, but isn’t Vlogmas meant to be a daily upload? Like that’s the whole point? Every other YouTuber I watch that does Vlogmas does the daily upload during December until Xmas.

Yeah it’s supposed to be but I watch another vlogger who is doing it like Hannah! Think they know it’s too much like hard work to do it daily.

I also think it came about because loads of vloggers have said it’s when they make the most money from Adsense as January is quiet and they don’t make much money from YouTube.

I didn’t understand her story about the hospital visit?

She always says she’s going to show something later in the vlog but never does!

A few vloggers don't do vlogmas daily. There's no rule to say they have to. I think daily ones can get boring depending on who it is.

I think because Zoe Sugg is seen as the OG daily vlogmas perhaps people assume it should be daily? Personally I couldn’t keep up watching daily vlogs and like mentioned must surely get a bit repetitive after awhile.

Zoe was the one who drew my attention to vlogmas so yes, you're right, people see her as the OG vlogmas wise and think it should be done every day.

She's mentioned in her vlog that she doesn't see the point in doing it daily as she's still working and River is at nursery so there wouldn't be much to film, if anything at all really on those days. She's also pregnant caring for a toddler so that's difficult in itself without the pressure of having to film on top. I imagine other youtubers doing daily vlogs don't have any other job and have the luxury of doing lovely cosy Christmassy things all day every day.

Yeh, least she’s being honest and realistic. A lot of main ‘content creators’ have a privileged lifestyle and dont often acknowledge that.

She’s chosen to do vlogmas as this is the best month to make money as January is quiet AD wise. That’s why a lot of vloggers announce they’re taking January off!

Hannah might work two days a week but she works from home so I can imagine she’s not snowed under she once replied to one of my YouTube comments to her on one of her work days and it wasn’t at lunchtime!

She gets a lot of help from her mother! Hate to think how she would cope without the help.

I'm 22 weeks pregnant so slightly ahead of her but I've got a daughter who was born a month after River, so I've been watching too but agree her vlogs are a little miserable

I feel she makes fun of people too much like when she was saying her boyfriend has a "tongue tie" in the car and he needs to see a specialist, you can tell it bothered him.

She also puts all her friends' embarrassing moments on her stories yet would never do it to herself.

My husband is the same! I do everything and he doesn’t even know what I buy our kids then when they were younger and all excited he would just lay in bed wanting to go back to sleep!

She's very involved with River; it's quite sweet to see.


That father will either have a better relationship with the second born as it is quite clear he has less of a bond with their son. I may be wrong as I'm not a parent but I think he was back at work and didn't spend as much time with Riv.

he is not a good person and that’s been apparent from years ago when Hannah was posting that he cheated on her multiple times when they were together before YouTube.
