This is Lockdown 3.0’s Tiger King. It’s made me so happy. On a serious note I hope they’re all able to laugh at themselves and are alright... but it’s just so brilliant.
I wish Julie’s iPad call came in a bit later. When she took the call she was still living a carefree and hapoy life (minus the definite “duck off” at the start).Does someone say “duck off” right at the start?!What is going on?! The whole thing is just bonkers. So many angry middle aged people. Also Julie’s IPad taking a phonecall during the argument is gold. Bet she’s glad she didn’t have her camera connected.

My understanding is Cheshire East asked her to host the zoom meeting to support the other councillers, who had already raised concerns about bullying behaviour from Brian Tolver (self appointed clerk guy) and Aled Brewerton (gollum, who brought his dad on the call also for some reason) so it sounds like there's been some history long before Jackie Weaver had to step in but she was there to try and keep the meeting civil

Right so apparently the self appointed clerk and Barry are both independent councillors (I’m betting they got lashed out of the Tory Party.) But Handforth residents are fuuuuuming over them two and Aled (of Aleds IPad,) not voting for £5k funding to go to food banks. There’s a bit of a war going on between the 3 Jackie haters and the other three because one of the Jackie haters mates got sacked. So they tried to make Ashley (website man and former official clerk,) bend the rules to let their mate back in. But Ashley said no, so they illegally sacked him. That’s when Jackie got called in and an investigation is occurring as we speak.
Stand out for me was when Sue suggested that they be offered the chance to return from the waiting room and Cyn said ‘NO.’ Legend. I also enjoyed Julies IPad taking a call at the beginning. Another hero. Frankly the women bossed the whole meeting

Jackie Weaver is an officer of the Cheshire association of local councils. They provide support to parish councils who obviously don’t have significant staff and can assist with all matters either admin fi an ace or legal advice. I would have thought she’d have a great deal of experience with parish councillors over stepping the mark being amatuerish and only after protecting their and their mates interests.
