When the meeting starts with someone muttering fuck off under their breath, you know shits about to go down 😭😭 I watched it probably an hour ago and I can’t stop laughing 😂

Trying to commit it all to memory, this is going to be all over the Big Fat Quiz of the Year come December looool

Does someone say “fuck off” right at the start?! 😂 What is going on?! The whole thing is just bonkers. So many angry middle aged people. Also Julie’s IPad taking a phonecall during the argument is gold. Bet she’s glad she didn’t have her camera connected.

This is Lockdown 3.0’s Tiger King. It’s made me so happy. On a serious note I hope they’re all able to laugh at themselves and are alright... but it’s just so brilliant.

Right so apparently the self appointed clerk and Barry are both independent councillors (I’m betting they got lashed out of the Tory Party.) But Handforth residents are fuuuuuming over them two and Aled (of Aleds IPad,) not voting for £5k funding to go to food banks. There’s a bit of a war going on between the 3 Jackie haters and the other three because one of the Jackie haters mates got sacked. So they tried to make Ashley (website man and former official clerk,) bend the rules to let their mate back in. But Ashley said no, so they illegally sacked him. That’s when Jackie got called in and an investigation is occurring as we speak.

Stand out for me was when Sue suggested that they be offered the chance to return from the waiting room and Cyn said ‘NO.’ Legend. I also enjoyed Julies IPad taking a call at the beginning. Another hero. Frankly the women bossed the whole meeting 🙌🙌🙌🙌

It was brilliant and I only caught highlights. I live in a small town council area and have had to sit in on many Town Council meetings due to my job and OMG none of this surprised me. Especially the 'old man shouts at female who has more authority' storyline.

I must have seen this video about five times now and still find it absolutely hysterical. Jackie is an absolute legend and kudos to her for dealing with them, also loved Cyn bluntly refusing to allow them back in the call. I also loved the fact that they'd been kicked out of an earlier meeting as well.

What the hell was wrong with Aled and his dad or whoever? Brian was bad enough patronising Jackie but something definitely off with them from that reaction, and having a go at Cyn because she was from Birkenhead. What?

Julie's iPad was priceless, I lost it at her taking a phone call just as the shit hit the fan, then her later loud gasp after one of the rants. Nothing is topping the "please refer to me as Britney Spears" though.

The whole thing was just the escapism I needed.

This has been the highlight of my day/2021.

Aled’s iPad was awful but I have had times at work where I wish I could have just screamed at people like that.

I wish Julie’s iPad call came in a bit later. When she took the call she was still living a carefree and hapoy life (minus the definite “fuck off” at the start).

Imagine if she’d taken it later, “hello? Can’t talk, I’m in a meeting right now and shit is
going down!!! Don’t want to miss the drama, talk later!”
