It seemed inevitable when he was posting a lot trying to get clients as a life coach etc that he must really need the money. I feel sorry for his son as I can imagine all the upheaval won’t be easy for him.

I don't feel sorry for him having to sell his mansion at all. His son is very young and has an "autism expert" working with him who will no doubt be able to offer ways to prepare him and keep him feeling safe. He's also got family support and will be used to travel.

Agree about the home. I just don't get why anyone would want a massive home with a couple of people rattling around in it!
If I were his wife then I'd have been very grateful for the extra space so I could avoid him, then again, I'd not have been stupid enough to marry him in the first place

Plenty of unverifed goss on him online on zmumsnet and reddit. Masterchef is unwatchable now. Like evwryone I wanted Monica and that French chef or Marcus and I no longer watch it. Monica was my favourite.

Sorry, no way is he getting 500 requests a month for Cameos - he'd be filming 15+ a day, 7 days a week. I'd say even 500 a year would be doubtful.
Absolute rubbish. He’s a joke request for hen parties and the like, probably once or twice a month.
I could never watch any programme he was on and that was before anything emerged about him. I definitely would not want a cameo and cannot imagine many people would. Ugh.
I know someone who got a cameo from him as a bad taste joke present for their sibling at Christmas and by all accounts Gregg had it done and sent in 30 minutes, doesn't seem like someone rushed off his feet with work!

Thing is, Gregg must have been on a healthy six figures (guessing) for years - decades even - due to Masterchef and all the other projects he’s had. So how do you blast through all that money so that you need to sell up within a year once you lose the big job? He should have had plenty set aside - investments, savings, pension plan etc. Especially as he’s not far off retirement age so should have been planning for that too.
But I guess he must have just been spending the lot as he went along.
