I think he must be because that seemed to be who she was with in her newest video? The day out to the art gallery and then for dinner afterwards felt like a date to me, but also not sure if she would've filmed it if it was a date.Is the boyfriend still around or no? We haven't had as much gushing for a while
Is the "mystery man" really a mystery though? I thought I saw him make an appearance in one of her Christmas vlogs? Two mentions of her male friend who likes whiskey in her vlog to Edinburgh. Wonder if she's still with the mystery man.
What happend?I love her. I do. But the teddy thing in the last vlog legitimately gave me the ick.
i don’t disagree, and I do have the benefit of hindsight. If that’s what a woman wants to do then that’s great. I just sometimes think we are conditioned to pursue careers and material things from childhood (or it’s a “waste” or “lazy”) and, really, it’s not always the craic you’re led to believe. You get literally invested and it’s also difficult to break the chain and social status you’ve gained. Your ability and intelligence and opportunity for mixing and networking is still the same whether you hunt down a career or create and develop a stable family unit.I don't think anyone is trying to vilify being a housewife but the fact is that Grace is very young to be settling down and would be moving straight out of her parent's house into a house she shares with her partner and then her children when the time comes. She hasn't really had the chance to live on her own, travel or build a career so it just seems a shame but ultimately it is her life and her choice !
I don't want to speak for your experience but you might not feel the same way if you hadn't experienced the professional career and had gone straight into life as a homemaker in your early 20s... plus the ultra competitive job will have given you many skills and a network which probably have helped you in your life now, I think for young women especially the financial independence and experiences granted by having a career are not to be overlooked, and being able to later show your children that women can have successful working lives too : )
She's mentioned before she downloaded dating apps so probably met him on one.Her boyfriend and his parents (probably) are in a clip around 2 mins in. I wonder how she met him if he went to Durham! Otherwise it’s his sibling I guess and she’s been included in a family event, cute.
Noticed there’s only one toothbrush on the sink. Starting to get the feeling they’re well on their way to engagement![]()
I always forget Banksy is the family cat and not hers. I remember back in the day they didn't get along all that well and now they are so close and cuddly. When Grace does move out, i could see it being nearby or a shortish driveaway as i don't see her spending too long away from Banksy and her siblings if she can help it.
Saaammeeeeee i turned off half way through. So flat, watching her in her kitchen was fine during lockdown since we were all doing the same (most of us anyway!) but now there’s so much she could be doing it’s just so boring to watch. What did everyone think of her latest video? I felt it was so... flat. I'm starting to get bored of her videos tbh![]()
I get that but I’m not talking about mentioning it in a video or uploading a video on the matter... just a simple repost on her insta story would help a lot. As women we should all be raising awareness in any way we can, she can influence her followers to speak up too. The more voices, the sooner we will be heard. To be fair, I get sick of influencers raising awareness about this and that. Its not like they’re the sole font of all knowledge, they get hauled over the coals for getting things wrong too.
I see nothing wrong with light entertainment without an education/moral slant, in my opinion its needed to balance up all the heavy, scary and depressing media we are fed daily.
But I’m not talking about her youtube channel. She has a big following on Instagram which is not baking based. It’s quick and easy to repost something onto her story. Not sure how you don’t think it’s important - that thinking just adds to the issue that is trying to be conquered.Agree! She has a mostly baking or cooking channel, why should she bring awareness to something like that?
If you want awareness, we should do that ourselves.
That said click for taz lives alone and seems equally as childish, I really hope it is just an act for both of them tbhIn regards to the conversation above, I don't think that anyone is saying she's TOO YOUNG to settle down (although she might be), it's just that she seems so childish. I thinking living on your own or with flatmates can be really beneficial, but it's not just the living on your own. She's clearly never had to budget, never had any bills (maybe a cellphone? maybe?), hasn't done anything with her degree, appears to have done virtually no travelling on her own, has thousands of followers and uses that to talk about outfits and Starbucks (although that might be an act, I think she used to be medially intelligent), appears to have a very childish relationship with her parents (nothing wrong with being close, but the NY video with her mom was hard to watcH). I think it will be a bit of a shame if transitions right into stay-at-home wife and mom, although at least Mommy content would be more interesting.
I also wouldn't be surprised if she just quits the internet when she's married. Her heart clearly isn't in it.
