God the manifesting quack in the title has never been so apt!
However, I feel bad for her and for saying she was lying earlier. The situation sounds awful and I hope she recovers soon.

I obviously wish her and baby well and hope both pull through this.

I never considered her additional risk from covid due to her weight and being BAME and how this could effect her pregnancy so I am quite shocked. I expected her to have some complications and maybe not be able to have the birth she envisioned but nothing like this. I’m sure she didn’t either.

Had she mentioned she had had covid for a couple of weeks? I don’t keep up with her much.
No she never mentioned it. She posted about the birth & said they were doing really well. It was the silence that had us suspecting something might be up but never in a millions years did we suspect it was to do with covid complications.

She hadn’t shared that I don’t think
Purely my own curiousity, I don't expect Grace or her family to share the details but I wonder when she caught it.

Covid is something where you can feel fine then suddenly take a turn or worsen over time.

I'm sure she would have been monitored, maybe even admitted but with the NHS already struggling I wonder how serious her condition was for that to be considered.

How was she "well" enough to consciously give birth only to be put under a day later?

Our health can be so sensitive, nothing is promised at all! 😔 It's terrifying.

agreed. And this isn’t meant unkindly but we must remember she’s in a vvv high risk situation and there’s sadly a huge risk of death, so some things aren’t appropriate right now? :/ just in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️
Exactly. Even if we may be thinking it it’s not the time for it.

I just want to say, in no way am I blaming her weight for this, it is however a fact that she has 3 risk factors that made her more vulnerable to covid that we know of:

Pregnancy, obesity and being BAME.

I don’t think it’s bad to acknowledge that all 3 of those may have contributed to why she’s had such a bad time with it. 2 of them are out of her control.

Saying that any healthy 30 year old could have the same is simply not true to be honest, but doesn’t make it Graces fault. She has just been very unfortunate in this situation and I hope she recovers soon.

I may be in the minority and I truly don't wish to offend anyone, but not to address it would be the elephant in the room. She's been in poor health, out of breath and chronically tired for years, Covid was the icing on the cake.

As long as no one is bashing her - and I'm sure we are all wishing her well - I don't see the problem in mentioning the obvious. She spent the entire pregnancy, complaining about ridiculous things (not being able to go on holiday), marginalising people who couldn't have children via her manifesting, and playing down the reality of a plus sized pregnancy. And this is someone who makes a living from her size and all that comes with it.

I’m no fan of Grace and have huge issues with many things she has said/done throughout her pregnancy and before. What I do know is there is a premature baby, a woman in a coma, and a family in turmoil. I know comment policing isn’t welcome so I’ll bow out now but think perhaps some comments can wait.

Absolutely awful. I hope Lee has a good support network as I can't imagine the heartbreak he is feeling going from a neonatal unit to see his premature son, to intensive care to see his critically ill partner. Horrific for all involved.

I do find it interesting she didn’t feel comfortable sharing that, as lots of people have shared online when they have been positive, wasn’t she out and about only like a week or so ago? So she can’t have had it too long before the birth.

I do feel for Lee, he must be scared.
Yeah that's what I find interesting as well, it's not like Grace to hold back, i mean this is the same woman who would tell us everytime she had her period lol

Also the fact that they had to deliver the baby due to how unwell she was & yet she tweets that they're doing really well?! Maybe she was manifesting her recovery but I think deep down she knew herself that with her weight, it probably wasn't gonna be smooth sailing.

On the story Lee put up when the baby was born you can hear Grace laughing in the background so it seems like maybe they thought the worst was over when the baby was born healthy. If they believed Grace was still seriously ill and would need to be put into a coma, surely the last thing they'd do would pick up their phones to post on social media?

I really feel for Lee and her whole family and sincerely hope Covid doesn't have a prolonged effect so she can bond with her baby.

May very well have got it when she was in hospital previously due to the incubation period.

Yeah. It’s hard to figure out the time line of events. I am purely speculating, please don’t jump on me for this, but I would hope that they aren’t using covid as a cover up for a pregnancy complication she has suffered.

That crossed my mind but I didn’t want to say it out loud.... 🤐

Just keep thinking about that YouTube where someone said she still sounded breathless and to see a doctor and she shot them down
Horrendous. Hope she pulls through and baby is ok

I would imagine that baby was delivered via c section as they knew that medical coma was a possibility. The excited baby update may have been in the blank period of baby being born and the decision to go ahead with the coma. I think they were probably trying to hang onto the joy of his birth, a snippet of normality in the midst of a nightmare.
This would explain the original announcement, and Grace in the background laughing.
I truly don't believe that this is a cover up for anything, I think it's now an extremely critical situation which is why they have felt the need to make it public knowledge.

In mid-November she went very quiet, and said she'd been in hospital for a week with dehydration, but she was also seeing a consultant and they usually deal with high-risk pregnancies.

There is honestly no way of telling and the above could be completely unrelated as she tends to become more evasive when situations that don't align with her narrative occur.

That said a family member of mine caught Covid and felt he'd recovered, not long after he became very unwell and was admitted to hospital and placed into an induced coma. So it can happen just like that, and Covid seems to be everywhere. It is possible that she is no longer in the induced coma and is recovering.

Yeah I have heard that when you get to week three it came become perilous. I am just confused at the fact she was able to announce the birth. Whatever it is though absolutely no one deserves this.

We all have her issues with her as a problematic influencer, but we a person I would never wish any harm to come to her.

I hope Lee doesn’t catch it too as he’ll also be high risk. I don’t like Grace but wouldn’t want to wish any actual harm on her or her family. So awful :-(

Really sad news about Grace, hope she recovers fast and soon. As much as we criticise her she is a young woman who has had a baby and deserves to enjoy that.

thinking of the family.
