I mean... you say this but the reason this was said was because Grace essentially said people with fertility issues didn’t ‘manifest’ hard enough to not have fertility issues?


Just because a bad thing happens doesn’t undo all her asshole behaviour before. If this happened to someone else I wouldn’t put it past Grace to say they hadn’t manifested hard enough.

We all don’t wish ill on her, but she has said some awful things and I don’t think we should just pretend she hasn’t because she is ill.

Thank you for this. I’m infertile and Graces explanation that it’s due to not manifesting enough is disgusting, that doesn’t change due to what she is going through.

Also, I HATE when people go on about how "God is great" (her followers). No. How about science and the doctors who saved her life are great. Sorry, I am a total atheist and just find that mindset SO insulting.

As a Christian, we also believe in science as well as the gifts, skills and roles of people in society. It would have taken nothing for Grace to extend some thanks to healthcare workers and many believers of any faith would have done so.

this is so odd! she’s being repeatedly called out on twitter and is continuing to talk about everything but the NHS, but is liking tweets defending her so obviously knows that people think she should be thanking the NHS. I mean even if she for some reason hates nurses why not just fucking thank them even if you don’t mean it ??

I know of, through someone else, a young mother who also fell ill with COVID immediately after her labour and she died from it, leaving her baby behind. Was she just not determined enough to rise?

I’m over the moon Grace is awake and her son still has both his parents. As the wife of someone working in a hospital, it’s the NHS staff, machines, medicine and treatments that have kept her here. As my husband says to me, he will sacrifice his time at home with his children for a short while so people get the rest of their lives with theirs. What a kick in the teeth to people like him who are exhausted and broken when she tweets such bollocks. I can’t help but think her thoughts at the moment are what good content this will make as she’s already mentioning a new book.

Laying on that hideous sofa bed thing they’ve created in the middle of their living room and watching Netflix? Still going with her nonsense but no word of thanks for the NHS staff who cared for her and her premature baby.
Infuriating, but not surprising.
She may be discharged from ITU but she’ll likely be in hospital a good while yet. She’ll have to learn to walk again and get her strength back. She may never make a full recovery, lots of long term ITU patients are left with residual weakness/tiredness. Same is true for long COVID.
She’ll be dependent on the NHS for a very long time

Wow, this tweet really feels like she’s almost viewing the doctors & nurses who cared for her as the enemy?

There’s a real “I showed you” energy to this. My god woman, acknowledge that they are the people who kept you alive! They’re also the people who delivered your son safely!

I think she may well be even more insufferable now. I knew Grace was an arrogant and self-focused person, but I’m seriously shocked by her attitude. There is nothing inspirational about this. She’s not displaying gratitude for anyone except herself.

Really confused about the timeline speculation, as if we all read different posts?

She gave birth morning of Christmas Eve. For all we know she was put into a coma late Christmas Day? This could have been a good 30-35 hours apart. A lot can happen in that amount of time especially when she’s exhausted from the birth whether this was natural or c section

I feel like a lot of people are clutching at straws with the whole tweet storyline. Give it a rest of a minute and just have a think about if this was your sister/partner/whoever and how you’d feel.

If you’re religious, keep her and baby in your prayers, if not, keep them in your thoughts and stop adding more drama to an already horrific event.

It must be bad considering Lee isn’t uploading pictures of him eye fucking himself. Her last stay in hospital didn’t stop him.
I hope she is ok. But honestly I hope this makes her rethink her life. The fact she turned down scans or thought she knew better was a very very dangerous attitude to have. Hopefully her own arrogance hasn’t put herself or her baby at risk.

I'm pretty shocked this whole experience hasn't changed her even in the short term.

Her ego knows no bounds. Any person with an average amount of compassion would realise how offensive it is to imply other people died because they gave up. Let alone someone with media training and who's whole job is to present a nice persona (to flog shit).

This is the same person that said she manifest her pregnancy which is so insensitive to those suffering from fertility issues of loss.

Absolutely awful. I hope Lee has a good support network as I can't imagine the heartbreak he is feeling going from a neonatal unit to see his premature son, to intensive care to see his critically ill partner. Horrific for all involved.
