She is absolutely bullshitting with the lotus flower birthing pool. You are not allowed into the birthing pool if you're pre-term (under 37 week) so if her baby was really due in February, it is absolutely out of the question that she would have been allowed a water birth! Not that she will ever tell us the truth...

If her baby was that early, he will be in an incubator in the NICU, probably being tube-fed and possibly on a ventilator. She will never admit to this either, but I'm guessing there won't be any photos of the baby any time soon because of this!

It's so sad that she's so in denial about her health that she won't use this opportunity to share her real experience with her followers.
If that midwife did genuinely tell her all those things about her being low risk surely there will be an inquiry / she could get struck off? This is one of the worst outcomes imaginable and it is undeniably negligent of HCPs to not anticipate this?! How horrific though x

anyone else slightly unnerved by the lack of posting all round?
before baby's arrival, I would've just chalked it up to mat leave and taking a break... but now I do hope everything's ok
Long time lurking finally made an account I myself have been following Grace’s pregnancy, after Lee’s Christmas post there have been no updates from Grace or Charleigh. I recently watched a documentary on obese mums so I knew that with Grace’s high BMI she would not have the natural birth she craved as there is a high risk that the baby becoming stuck so he was obviously delivered by cesarean. Judging from Grace’s social media it would appear that she gave birth at approximately 33 weeks, so he was quite premature his lungs would still be under developed and will be in hospital for quite a few weeks. I really hope that he is ok and progressing well along with Grace too of course.

My guess is that probably he was born before term and therefore needs to stay in hospital for awhile. And as it wasn’t going according to Graces perfect birth plan, she’s not ready to admit that. But I do wish them well and hope everything is ok!

I really hope she is honest about her experience as i think it would really help bring some attention to premature birth and whatever reason she had baby early (pre-eclampsia? Baby distressed? Early labour) but we know Grace will sugar coat it all and nothing would have been wrong....i hope i am wrong though!

I wonder if the hospital offers anyone to talk to after a premature birth? It must be quite shocking for the mother

I seriously wish her to find all the courage and talk about her experience when she’s ready to do that. This is her chance to educate, advice and help other mothers who had gone through the same thing. As once she was marketing herself as someone with no taboos and talking in her videos about vaginas and self etc., this is her chance to shine a light on another taboo topic - premature birth,is there anything to do to maybe prevent it, how to deal with it mentally, how the partner can support you, about any risk factors and so on...
Someone here mentioned RawBeatyKristi, when after she gave birth, she admitted it was traumatic and not the way she imagined and when she’s ready she’s gonna talk about it. And knowing what’s she’s already gone through I already respect her more than anyone and will listen to her story.
Maybe Grace can fool herself saying that everything is fine but you can’t fool all your followers saying that baby is due Feb 2021,hashtagin’ every picture every week with how many weeks you are and then boom - surprise Christmas baby. It’s doesn’t work that way.
We just need to wait and see and wish her luck and and to be brave to tell her story after.

I have heard RawBeatyKristi quoted here quite a few times here even Mary Forester (who was close friends with Grace years ago) said her birth experience was traumatic, and her son had a few health concerns a lot of mums have similar experiences. Even Kate Ferdinand said today that she had a traumatic birth and had to have an emergency cesarean. I also hope this experience and becoming a mother encourages Grace to mature and draw awareness, to traumatic delivery and premature birth and educate other expectant mothers. Instead of her usual pattern of putting a superficial gloss on things and spreading her airy-fairy nonsense and misinformation.

Have the comments on her last post always been limited?
I’m hoping that they are just spending some time as a family and at worst, deliberately all being coy to build up the suspense

Her posts are limited to those who follow her only, it's been that way for a while, maybe that's it?

I do hope everything is okay with them.

Long time lurker here (first post) but I saw this on one of her American friends stories earlier and although Grace can be annoying I really do hope all is well.

I just can’t wait for the spin she puts on this.
She’s such a liar though I love how we all have to read between the lies but like they say eventually they trip themselves up and get caught in a lie if it was the truth it wouldn’t be so difficult!
Hope baby is okay I’m praying for him being stuck with those two now!!
Also she will be fuming if she isn’t discharged tomorrow to have her whole Christmas dinner!!!!
Not a chance she will be discharged if he’s really early or c section

It must be bad considering Lee isn’t uploading pictures of him eye bleeping himself. Her last stay in hospital didn’t stop him.
I hope she is ok. But honestly I hope this makes her rethink her life. The fact she turned down scans or thought she knew better was a very very dangerous attitude to have. Hopefully her own arrogance hasn’t put herself or her baby at risk.

I had my little boy 6 weeks early (I was not high risk or overweight). We were on the NICU for 8 days, my little boy needed light therapy for jaundice and he needed to be tube fed because he was too small to breastfeed. I had to pump every 3 hours to get my milk to come in and have something to tube feed him. It was the most stressful and exhausting time of my life - luckily we got a private room after 3 days but it was the height of summer, it was boiling hot, the bed was like sleeping on springs and nothing else. All whilst coming to terms with a new baby and trying to get over a traumatic birth 6 weeks earlier than expected (all births are traumatic I’m sure, even if you go to term!) - I didn’t even have a hospital bag packed, my waters broke at work and I went to the hospital with nothing on me. They had to lend us nappys and clothes for the baby.

My point is - all of this happened to me and I was not high risk. I didn’t have a spare moment between speaking to doctors and nurses, tube feeding, pumping, sleeping. I certainly wouldn’t have had the time or the inclination to update social media! I’m sure they are just in the newborn bubble but I would be surprised if they weren’t still at the hospital. If Grace had a c-section it will be even tougher, luckily my son was delivered naturally so although my fan hurt like hell at least I could move about, walk and lift things. I saw some poor women in the hospital who had c sections who couldn’t even stand up straight.

I am not a Grace fan but I hope her and the baby are healthy and safe. Mainly I hope she is taking the advice of doctors!

Hopefully she and baby have come through the worst of it and the prognosis is good, because then I assume she wouldn't have announced she gave birth until they were sure everything was okay.

They must still be in hospital but going through standard procedure due to how early he was born and the complications she had during pregnancy.
