Sorry if this isn’t right, I don’t want to offend anyone, but if her friend the shopkeeper is Muslim then is it appropriate to offer him a Christmas gift? Also bit random isn’t it 🥴
I know theologically Muslims believe the Prophet prior to Muhammed was Jesus (or Issa in Arabic) and stories of his life from the Bible also appear in the Koran but Muslims don't believe in some of the things about Jesus that Christians do (when I was a teen my Dad lived away from us for one year cause he was working in the Middle East until his boss messed up and he left the job, so he did a lot of study about Islam). So I've heard that some Muslims find it OK to celebrate Christmas if they're in a Christian majority country. I've heard that in some Muslim majority countries, Easter is still celebrated for some reason (I read it in one page of a book and I don't know too many details) but obviously not theocracies like Iran or Saudi Arabia.

It seems a bit random to give the gift to a shopkeeper unless they are friends maybe?

Shop keeper probably knows her from all the snacks she goes in there to buy. Tbf I have shop keepers I'm friendly with, not sure if I'd give them a Christmas present, but whenever I'm in the shop there are always people who are super chatty with shop keepers. So I always assume they've built a rapport with them.

Agreed. I’m super chatty so am one of those people 😂 but if I had to give a gift I would have friends / family / neighbours I’d choose first, it’s actually quite sad she doesn’t tbh :/

Wow ok, wasn’t expecting this. Either she lied about the due date everywhere from the beginning and all the scans she had etc. OR ( and I have a feeling this is more true tbh ) they had to deliver him early because of something - maybe he was too small/something to do with her hospital visits etc... anyhow... we will never know the true guys so just congrats to the new fam x

She said “due Feb ‘21” (see her pinned tweet) so say he was due early Feb, could be around 6 weeks early. That’s not too bad. Could be 8-9 weeks early if he was due later in Feb which is a bit more of a worry.
Although she could have been lying about the due date and that’s why she went “on maternity leave” relatively early.
No wonder she’s been quiet!
