To echo the above
1) there’s not a chance grace is actually following the shreddy guide. The only day she posts about working out is when she is doing a “gym guide” leg day. Weird that that’s the one she’s chosen to show off, when it’s the one day she not joining in with this great community.
2) the awards are a joke. Even when she puts all the magazine articles on her story like her PR team haven’t asked for the articles in first place. Money gets mentions. Money gets contacts. And yes they who shout the loudest win. All awards can be bought.
3) they are just good at marketing. She has effectively just released merch but wants to glam it up with all the ceo titles. Literally every fitness influencer our there has their own bands/ guides/ apps/ leggings. The most impressive thing is that people are still choosing her merch when she’s so out of touch with fitness. Which is proven with the absolute lack of fitness content during this pandemic. Why are bnd just posting photos of smoothie bowls when they sell home gym equipment and there’s a huge market of people trying to get into fitness at the moment with no idea what to do at home. A lot of fitness influencers are growing their followers at the moment because they’re smashing the quarantine content. Graces brands just seem stagnant

Why oh why can't she just work on what she has? The quality of Tala products, the INSANE prices for shipping, terrible customer service....plenty of space to improve QUALITY over QUANTITY. Please don't let her create another product line with GenFlow just to stop giving TLC to Tala, such a shame.

The thing is she’s incredibly privileged and doesn’t even own it
Young followers in her group constantly say how they feel bad they can’t be like grace it’s just not okay
Really fallen out of touch with her

My coach has shifted to home workouts. My mum's PT is providing her with home workouts. B_ND would ideally be posting people doing home workouts, possibly reposting people doing the Shreddy workouts or using the bands in their own workouts (which they won't cause they wouldn't want to show what the Shreddy workouts are actually like because they want people to buy the app before they see the workouts).

It kind of bugs me how Grace has won young entrepreneur of the year and is on Forbes 30 under 30. I know that she has built two very successful businesses and, revenue wise, these businesses are definitely award and Forbes worthy.

But I feel bad for all the young entrepreneurs who started from nothing, started their business without having a ready made customer base, without already having millions in the bank, without having a business consultant father, business manager and personal assistant. These young people will literally have lived on the breadline to make their businesses work and will have worked 24/7 just to get the word out there and to try and get some investment. Grace didn’t need to do any of this, yet she is the one taking up a place and winning the awards over these other young entrepreneurs who quite literally overcame the odds.

Again, I’m not saying grace and her businesses aren’t successful, it’s just I know there are young entrepreneurs out there who have really done incredible things who aren’t getting any recognition because the focus is on influencers like Grace and Kylie instead. It’s not their fault, I just wish Forbes would take things like background into account when measuring someone’s achievements.
Literally this! She already had a massive leg up prior to starting her business, as she had hundreds of thousands of followers and a history on the socials, so of course when she launched it was going to sell out! There's no denying she's successful, but its so not genuine. Most normal young entrepreneurs literally start from 0. So i get so irritated when she's lapping up all this praise and 'industry awards'.

imagine saying “the world wants you to get comfortable” instead of understanding that the “world” (aka your customers) just want consistently good products? she is so out of touch and full of herself.

(also hello from GG!)

To me she just sounds like she's picking quotes out of self help business books and smushing them together in a word salad. When she says words like "infrastructure" I feel like she's trying to sound like a business woman rather than is one who is comfortable using industry terms.

(I'm aware infrastructure isn't exactly a technical term, but compared to some of her other tweets you get the contrast)

Hi everyone! Longtime lurker, finally caved in to create an account. I genuinely wish she and her followers can see all of this, it’s all so bleeping spot on. Like many of you I once loved Grace and I’ve experienced the full 180 like the rest of you.

She’s an unbearable show off. I made this account just to join the venting on her recent twitter posts being like “i think i’m ready to make some more big moves” and “i know i sit back a lot" and whatever tit about spreading yourselves so thin. Girl your quality is trash, you are spreading yourself too thin. She also literally admitted in the comments to knowingly selling sub-quality tit to her consumers in order to “keep her workers paid”. Her literal “success” and “multi-million” companies profit from poor quality trash tit that break in 6 seconds, a faulty app full of workouts that don’t do tit and from other people who actually do the majority of the work for her, including having some brand manager whose career and life is dedicated to her brand. How could forbes award her when everything is so bad. This influencer world is strange.

Admittedly i kept giving her excuses like maybe she does work hard and people are underestimating her, how can we know what’s going on behind the scenes blah blah blah. Now I don’t even feel bad anymore - no wonder she has not moved on from 1 mil followers, so many ppl must see through her tit. It’s probs not even a full 1 mil if you count out pervy men and bots.

I noticed other people post about this so I am gonna chip in. As someone who is also really dedicated to working out, lifting heavy, and constantly learning from really experienced professionals like IFBB pros /actually certified hardworking women like Natacha Oceane - you know people who have truly dedicated their lives to this sport and are scientifically accountable, I think Grace being platformed by mainstream media and her followers as an actual fitness figure is bleeping embarrassing and a spit in the face of the fitness world. Her “expertise” is literally negative at this point and anyone who holds her as an esteemed “fitspo” is literally an idiot. Even the weights she posts on her insta stories when she wants the world to think shes going in for a “sweaty emoji” workout are sooOOO light (for someone who is supposed to be a “fitspo”) Literally other fitness influencers showing workouts with their bleeping towels and water bottles are achieving greater muscle stimulus than she is with her squat rack. Also let’s keep in mind, if she was working out properly, we’d know because she’d post it all over the place from her sweating to the KG of her weights. I know that everyone has their own personal relationship with fitness and may have periods of falling out from the gym, but I feel others are more genuine about that (?) and will not use that as an excuse to become absolutely irrelevant, while simultaneously claim to still be relevant. And yeah I don't think she's following the shreddy workouts because even that is too hard for her probs lmao.

Idk if you guys know Caroline O’ Mahoney, but she once posted on her insta story “should fitness influencers look like what they preach / sell” or something along these lines and the majority said yes. Guess what, Grace ain’t it.

PS. I’m angry and idk if this is too mean but I’m ready to vent about her “B_ND content creators” and “Shreddy ambassadors”.

Yeah I found this video really awkward. Because none of them achieved anything (when they basically said at the start the results they wanted) and then tried too hard not to criticise it. They committed to the full 12 weeks as well

Welcome welcome. On tour very last point about shreddy ambassadors, I am the exact same. She has really started gifting our products heavily which seems like a 180 for someone who went on about how low her profit margins are and no chance of discounts

The people they’re choosing prove the quality to me. Like Gymshark and other brands use ambassadors that are qualified pts or at least well respected fitness influencers who put out a lot of viable fitness content. I don’t get why all of graces ambassadors are just like ex love island stars??

4) Do people actually think Shreddy is effective? Like there is no way. So I've been working out for 6 years now and am an active human - heavy lifting, fast circuits, sprinting, basic yoga, hiking, swimming whatever. I test different influencers' programs just for fun. Kayla's still kills me (it's what I began with) but I fix them a bit to be more challenging. Natacha Oceane, Sarah Day, Krissy Cela etc. love them all and I think these women have figured out good plans for a wide variety of fitness levels. But Shreddy....omg. There is literally no bleeping way that tit is anything more than an active warmup. I understand that everyone has different fitness levels, but anyone reading this and doing Shreddy - please trust me - you are so much more capable than that. I genuinely can't believe people comment with sweat emojis and say Shreddy workouts look hard and are tiring. No disrespect if you do find it hard, but I think it's a huge waste of money and I promise you will achieve a far greater progressive overload looking elsewhere, and just skip this gigantic waste of time and your hard earned finances. Also calories in vs calories out, focus on low caloric dense / volume heavy foods, learn from all the great free advice on youtube, you don't need her "professionally certified" nutritional plans. Also who are all these idiots literally lifting nothing with her crappy looking belt? I deadlift 100 kg with no belt and no gloves. Omg I can't handle how poor the quality of Shreddy is. Also it was not #1 in the health and fitness charts as they were saying lmao.

I used Shreddy for a bit after gymming consistently for 6 years and dancing from the age of 3 and tbf I did find aspects of the workouts challenging and it did change my body a bit BUT I got SO bored. The workouts were SO repetitive, it was a lot of the same exercises for lots and lots of reps, which I found a bit dull after the first couple of weeks. I know there's some core exercises you should use repetitively and consistency is key but doing glute bridges and burpees nearly every workout got a little boring. I think Shreddy is a good, friendly welcoming to the gym but you definitely need the confidence to personalise it for yourself.

If you go to switch an exercise there's actually some really good/new (to me anyway) ones and I was like "why tf aren't these featured basically at all but bloody banded squat jumps are there every bleeping day?!"
Probs pushing the banded workouts bc it's essentially brain washing you to buy the bands even tho they keep saying you "don't need them". Like you said for it to not get boring, I think that ppl need to understand the concept of progressive overload (so for example instead of doing 30 burpees or however like they tell you everyday, see how many you can do in 30 seconds every other day). So one of my friends gave me Kayla's old old guides just to do it with her and she has 7 min intervals for eight exercises split in four circuits, which is extremely easy for me regardless of what week I was doing. So to progressive overload, i figured to do 2 rounds in 7 mins, increased reps, fixed some movements to be more challenging and it's actually fun now and I've been using it well during quarantine. It's also a huge maximization of volume. I also think Shreddy is not that good but I'm glad you experienced some results with it. I strongly agree you need to have the confidence to personalise it yourself. That's the problem with all of these programs these influencers release. At some point they're never going to be enough, they're not building a training program based on *your* needs bc it's usually generalised to get beginners started.

Yeah I found this video really awkward. Because none of them achieved anything (when they basically said at the start the results they wanted) and then tried too hard not to criticise it. They committed to the full 12 weeks as well

That's actually a really good point, even scrolling on Tala's page you see people posing in it in their bedrooms rather than actually working out in it. I have a horrible feeling that's where they're going with the tracksuits and hoodies. I thought Tala was cute from the first pictures but now we've seen more (such as that horrible bum contour, I'd be so embarrassed thinking people think they can see my underwear) and because I've read their trustpilot I'm gonna stick with my high street leggings and gymshark sports bras.

Yeah they’re fully ready to leave the gym clothes behind and just be general wear. Grace has hinted so bad that bikinis are coming out this summer. And she posted on her insta a picture in a white pleated skirt and bodysuit (which looked like 0 support) for new tala. Should’ve known when the bin bag windbreakers were released that weren’t lounge or gym wear this is where they were going😂
And the neon “festival” cycling shorts that weren’t recommended for exercise

... guess they can be less scrutinised if they’re no longer releasing leggings that need to be squat proof
