Would"nt travel insurance cover this anyway.....or did they not bother to get any???3 GFMs for this one......top one is probably fake though and will get removed.....
I've only scanned the narrative, but it just mentions a swimming pool accident. I'm not sure if the "GB Diving Aspirations" comment is sarcasm and therefore implying that he dived in, possibly into shallow water?
Anyway, the GFM isvague as usual, re the cause of injury, and no mention of insurance......
Back to the usual template for these GFMs, lad on holiday falls/dives hurts back, possibly forgot insurance which wouldn't have covered them anyway if they had maybe had a few bevvies......
No rooms smashed or missing organs.....or new teeth involved, but as I said, I only scanned it quickly, so there could be a few surprises in there....
James van der beek’s family have one going at the moment. It’s at $1.75 million
Tbf apparently gofundme automatically keeps upping the target when it gets reached?
Wow multiple homes….sounding a bit Kate Garraway ish in the sense that they don’t want to loose their 2nd or 3rd home to pay care costs. Take it they had no life or medical insurance?Tbf apparently gofundme automatically keeps upping the target when it gets reached?
I do think it's mostly other celebs donating though. I saw Steven Spielberg donated $25k. It is a bit of joke how much money they've raised. No disrespect to his wife but she doesn't need to keep homeschooling forevermore - her kids could go to regular school and she could get a job eventually like any regular mum in that situation would have to do. Plus they owned more than one property so thats a guaranteed income since they rent it out.
Okay so apparently they were renting the ranch + he barely gets any residuals from Dawson's Creek:Wow multiple homes….sounding a bit Kate Garraway ish in the sense that they don’t want to loose their 2nd or 3rd home to pay care costs. Take it they had no life or medical insurance?
edit - Just read a hello article…they left their LA 4 million home(now rented out) and bought a beautiful large ranch in Austin Texas during covid.
I think if there was no medical insurance the GFM would have been set up just after diagnosis rather than death. Life insuranceSurely they weren't that silly not to get life/medical insurance!
Would it even be possible to get life insurance when you have cancer ? Even in the Uk my Mum struggled to get travel and life insurance when she had cancer even though she had existing policies, and I can only imagine America is much worse.I think if there was no medical insurance the GFM would have been set up just after diagnosis rather than death. Yeh they would’ve needed to take out the life insurance policy before the cancer diagnosisWould it even be possible to get life insurance when you have cancer ? But surely because of his job and lifestyle you'd think he would be advised to get life insurance.Would it even be possible to get life insurance when you have cancer ? In the UK you can get life insurance after a cancer diagnosis, it's not as much as it would be if you was healthy getting it and the monthly payments are normally triple aswell. Not sure about USA thoughWould it even be possible to get life insurance when you have cancer ?
