Just watching first episode but so far she still seems wooden as duck
Is that show "sack the stylist" still on, because Leomie should be on it. What the bloody hell was that outfit in this week's show?

Considering the runways she has walked, she has no idea how to dress.

I really hate that as we've gone series to series, the focus has moved to more concept/costume/social media makeup and away from the basic skills of being a pro-MIUA. It's very much now based on the looks they want to do within a theme, rather than having to work to a client brief, which is essentially what an MUA would have to be able to do day-to-day. Even working as a bridal/occasion artist you're creating something based on a idea from the person who you are working on.

We also really only see focus on core techniques in the two-minute face-off, and it's a shame as I feel none of the artists will have long careers in the pro-industry without those skills.

I don't really have a favourite yet in this series. The level of talent certainly seems to be on the wane. However, I have to see someone standing out to me for the wrong reasons is Joshua. He's very arrogant/cocky about his abilities given what he's actually brought to the chair so far ... I was surprised he's won awards.

i think he is skating on thin ice - he should have nailed the drag challenge and his look was crap.

Leonie doing the countdown in the face off in the up down up down cadence really unsettled me, mark of a psychopath

I knew the smug twins would rooster up the prosthetics. They were just too full of themselves. The lad seemed to deal with it so much better than blue hair though. I wasn't sure if she was going to kick off when she was put into the red chair or have a nervous breakdown.

If anyone has watched Smoggie Queens (and I can't blame you if not as it is proper crap), he reminds me of the tragic queen in that show, the skinny deluded one called Dickie.

Happy to see some normal/traditional style make-up on the first challenge this week and the elimination. Leomie does seem like a spare part as she features less than the previous hosts, I guess it is the edit, and there is a lot more interaction. Right now I can't call out the winners they are all having good and bad weeks.

They don't really need her tbh. I've actually been quite enjoying this series
