Their music hasn’t aged well at all; I think the same of much of that type of music to be honest. Pretty Tied Up is one example of a total misogynistic song that shouldn’t have seen the light of day in this day and age. They’re such a strange choice for a festival like this. Axl Rose’s voice is shot to pieces; understandably - hard to keep those high notes at that age.
they’re not suited to Glasto at all IMO. Sad to think Billy NoMates was hounded off social media for her performance yesterday - probably by the same kind of folk chanting away to this <points>. She’s not my cup of tea but at least she’s doing something current.
As a huge classic rock fan, I have to disagree. Judging by that crowd reaction plenty of people of all ages have enjoyed it.

Absolutely LOVED GnR set. Went to Tottenham last year and they were great but the sound was awful. Slash has always been my crush too

The great thing about Glastonbury & the BBC coverage is that you can turn off an artist you don’t like & change over to one you do.

they’re not a Glastonbury band and not a headliner. We turned it off.
