Legend is probably my favourite Gladiator ever. Especially in the reboot as there are a lot of very bland gladiators in there!

I don't know whether its just me, I am really enjoying this series, but there isn't a contestant that wows me. Previous series, there's always someone that I've been like wow they are impressive or someone with a really great personality who stands out but there isn’t anyone this year. Particularly, with the women, most of them kind of look the same and have similar sounding names so its hard to work out who is who sometimes!

I am waiting on him blaming his adhd for the whole thing. He must know deep down he has fucked up his career now.

It is also the inconsistencies that have baffled me. First it was he wanted to keep it secret, then it was he wanted to publicly acknowledge his girlfriend and now he wanted to help her career.
I wonder what he meant by 'wanted to help her career'

Use his platform as a Gladiator and role model for young people to help her career within the adult content creating industry ?

I'm going down a rabbit hole here that I can't articulate very well but there are a generation of men who in the mid 2000's onwards were young guys, cameras in phones happened and the era of asking/pestering and getting nudes from girls became normal sending unsolicited dick pics was normal fast forward to now twenty years on and we have that generation of men in or around their 40's with brains hard wired lacking ZERO education that times are trying to change .

We get that young boys in schools are being rightly educated but who is managing the fortysomething men who were the noughties youth (now newly single) who see Only Fans as an extension of the images they got off girls back in the day for free, they think they're keeping up with the times !
Proudly supporting girls to get their kit off for money, yeah of course you are, their brains are trapped in something that is so dated ... They need speaking to by someone because its tragic .

I don't like these sorts of statements where people paint themselves as the victim of a situation, but won't explain what actually happened.

I think people should either be clear about what happened or stay quiet.

The bbc/production company could be absolutely in the wrong, or it could be something where he has declined a reasonable request as he doesn't agree with it for moral reasons

Eg. He has decided to become religious and doesn't think that working on a Sunday or wearing a skimpy costume aligns with his beliefs.

If I was Vogue id be embarrassed to have won, in fact I think id have held my hands up, joked that id still have been at the start without the ladder and given it to Nicola..

Yes she did well in other challenges but she clearly has no upper body strength as she struggled on bars too.

the bit at the start of everest where the gladiator and contestant have to make eye contact through the perspex and bang the screen and such gives me the absolute ICK 🤣🤣

hammer going “this is the lion’s den!” last night had me 🤢
Hammer just full on gives me the ick. I think it's the turkey teeth. I feel the same way about Giant.

so gutted about today’s results - my two faves went out. I really feel that Tyler coming back with one game to go and then winning the Eliminator when it’s clear he has far less fatigue is somewhat shady. I think in good sportsmanship I would probably give it to Finn. Naomi deserved it fair and square though, sad to see Ella go

I have found this series a bit, scripted? Fake? something feels a bit off. The panto element seems to have been upped, but also it feels like gladiators are letting contestants get away with stuff, or the opposite and creating rivalries and storylines

I don't know, it's starting to feel like WWE.

Fury comes across as the nicest gladiator. Both on screen and on social media. She seems lovely.
I really like Fury. She's good at the games and supportive to the contestants. I think she's a good, positive role model for the young uns with her lobe of so many sports (and of course as a representation of deafness on prime time TV) and she comes across well on other shows too. It made me sad that she lost her dad recently. I felt for her as I lost a parent young too, especially as she said he should've been there to watch her on Strictly at xmas.

I really liked Sabre in the first series, she was probably my favourite female Gladiator, but as time has gone on, I've gone off her. She seems really cocky, always wants the camera on her and some of the other female Gladiators are much better at the events than she is...I guess because they're not all just preening and posing.

Looking forward to series 3!
I agree with this. Really liked her in series one, but now she's become really unlikeable, especially after the events. Where Legend's cockiness comes across as good humoured and tongue in cheek, Sabre just comes across as smug and mean.
