So it has taken 14 year for one woman to come forward. The others that have come forward are more recent. IWhen I first heard I thought OMG another one, but come on. He's smutty, he can be a bit over the top but ruining a man's career ?? Keith Lemon will be the next one to be accused. I think it's ridiculous. We are adults if you don't like what someone says move on.
Oh no, another poor man's career ruined because women don't want to put up with his shitty behaviour? 🎻🎻🎻

Yeah he's a knob and over the top but smutty words. Stand up for yourself, tell him where to go. Some of these accusations are from 14 year ago. We lived in a different world 14 year ago. I used to work in a pub. The smut we heard!!. Think these complaints are more about £££ signs.
Smutty words? He told a young colleague that he wanted to bend her over a counter and fuck her up the arse. In front of a room full of people. Do you think this is acceptable ‘banter’? In the workplace? If so, you have a serious problem.

I'm a woman of a certain age, who suffered in silence when all those mysoginist bullies were about. So much so, that I couldn't take the constant lewd comments about my big boobs, and had a breast reduction. I'm now covered in scars, because auld creeps like him thought they could comment on my body. Imagine if us women went around staring at mens groins and commenting on the size of their dicks. Delighted they are being cancelled.

I too, am a woman of a "certain age", and I can't tell you how much it gladdens my heart to realise that young women are no longer putting up with this shit, and are quite rightly calling the misogynists to account.
As for his accent...I have met literally hundreds of Italian people through work, including some who can hardly speak English at all. I've never heard a single one who sounds anything like this prick.
I'm so glad that his number is up, we can't stand him in my house! 😡

Me too lovey. One night I went into a club and was taking my jacket off. A man came from across the corridor to specifically squeeze my boobs. This was back in 1999. I was on the waiting list for a BR anyway but I came home that night sobbing. My dad said enough was enough and paid for the reduction.

The reality was that man should have been arrested and charged with sexual assault but I mutilated my body instead because it made me feel dirty.

Sadly I’m totally unsurprised by these dreadful revelations. I’ve never been able to stand him. He gives me the ick and has always come across as a slimey, cocky, arrogant little tosser. 🤮

Another ITV wrong ‘un - bet his bosses have been covering up for him for years. 😡

I hate that some women my age and older (I started my career in the early 2000s) are defending him. No!! We should be supporting those brave young women for having the courage to speak out and holding them up, not knocking them down and telling them to put up with it because we did.

Is anyone genuinely shocked by this? He was best buddies with Philth and Holly for years. The world of TV is literally a cesspool. Would hate to think what sick things the senior bosses get up to 🤢

…now will someone confirm if he delivered his vile, crass comments in an English or Italian accent? No-one’s been able to confirm if the accent is hammed up for show, have they?

Bloody delighted these arrogant arseholes who thought they could say and do anything they liked are falling down one by one.

I think the point is that they're saying crude stuff OFF camera whereas Keith Lemon's act is on camera. (Unless you know different).

You must know full well saying things like that to people (specifically women) is not on. I like banter but I don't want to know about any man's willy, balls or bumhole. It's the workplace not kindergarten and saying it to someone to intimidate or embarrass them is bullying.

These men always seem to have a whole host of female sympathisers. All the comments along the lines of "how come its taken 15 years for them to come forward?"

Totally oblivious to power dynamics and the fact that sometimes it can take that long for one brave woman to come forward and open the floodgates, or that on many occasions, objections were raised at the time but were swept under the carpet.

Hope we never see the greasy little git again, although I expect there's a Schofield-style "woe is me" interview on the way. That lot all tend to have the same agents, don't they?

I remember watching a program called ' grumpy old men ' on BBC 2 years ago. Different men talking all things from stuff that annoyed them to things they like . He was on he said, he had seen a girl in her school uniform at a bus stop and ' I would have done time for her '🤮🤮🤮🤮 . Since then I could watch him at all I've told anyone who mentioned him .

Agree 100%. Another woman of a certain age here who has put up with so much shit, sexual comments, innuendo etc in my working life in the 90s onwards. So so glad young women are not putting up with this!

There's plenty who are defending him purely on the fact that he is Italian and that sexual banter is all part of his "culture". You can bet your bottom dollar that those same people would be up for lynching him if he was from certain others cultures. The hypocrisy is astounding.

The whole father of daughters thing pisses me off because it centres men's experience and feelings. They should be able to respect women as autonomous and deserving of the same respect as a man, regardless of whether that woman is related to them or not.

Someone I am very close to is Italian and came here in his early 20s, so full accent even now 20 odd years later. He has said from the first time of hearing his accent it is not authentic and that no one has a clue who he is back home.

I also remember my late wonderful nan, who was always a good judge of character. He came on the tv one day making some fancy bruschetta. She said ‘all he ever makes is things on toast. That man is a fraud’. 😬😆 she always got it right bless her.

ITV enjoyed Gino’s lewdness and encouraged it.

Philip and Holly rolling around at his rubbish ‘faux pas’ stuff was all scripted and done for ratings.

He was vulgar on Celebrity Juice, a lot of the guests on that show were too.

Gino is not without blame but he was encouraged by ITV to be like that.
