Usually goes up on YouTube later on. Not sure thoughGaaah! Have I missed it?! Hope it'll be online somewhere, not that I'll be able to see it as we've got no broadband and virtually no mobile data signal at the moment![]()
Will have to check this yondeland out now sounds up my alleyHahaha. I think if you enjoyed Peep Show, you may enjoy this. The first series takes some breaking in- as does any where they're establishing characters etc but it's fab.
Peep show was outstanding. I'm always told that I remind people of Jez which I'm not entirely sure is a good thing
Yondeland is the kind of wacky programme you watched as a child and reminisced about as an adult but made for your now warped/ jaded/ filthy adult mind
I think you can get the dvds online but one of the series is impossible to get hold of.
Like This Life which I got recently. Series one is dirt cheap but series two is £££
I have to disagree completelyI didn't rate it at all. I think the Horrible Histories Rotton Romans film was much better.
I’ve just finished the US series.
I think it’s best not to compare it to the UK version because, other than the concept, it’s totally different.
Sam can see Ghosts wherever she goes. Could Alison do that in the UK version? I can’t recall. I liked when she met her mum again.
I don’t think the actor who plays Thorfinn is very good - is it just me or does his accent keeps slipping?
Trevor, the Wall Street Trader, who plays the equivalent of the UK politician character, is much more likeable than the UK character.
I miss a “Mary” equivalent.
Nigel reminds me of Matt Hancock facially!
The headless character seems to have been forgotten most of the time.
There is no way that Hetty would have been so accepting of Isaac admitting he was gay or shared a bedroom with him. Did we find out how she died? I’m also glad the Prom Queen was only for one episode as I didn’t enjoy that one.
Fingers crossedUsually goes up on YouTube later on. Not sure though
That's where I watched it.I think it's on Prime
Where do you watch the American version?I felt the same after watching the first couple of episodes, however I stuck with it and it grew on me a bit. The US version branches out a bit more than the UK one, we see ghosts in other settings and other ghosts come and go in the house, so in that respect it's a bit different.
I've just listened to the second podcast and it was a lot better than the first! It gave a bit more insight into the writing/creative process.
