Good point... They're trying to paint her as an unpleasant specimen but ultimately even if she is SHE STILL HAS THE RIGHT TO A SINGLE SEX SPACE and also the right to be treated fairly and with respect.

I was a witness in a tribunal and got complimented by the judge for being entirely fair to the person involved even though they were horrible to me. I didn't lie, praised them where praise was due and denied claims that weren't true. That's the best and only way to win IMO: honesty. If you don't have that you have nothing.
Any bets on LN having a trans family member. Odd that she would go on several holidays, etc before she decided that she disliked SPs views

I see she's decided Sandie is homophobic, despite what her daughter says.

I keep coming back to the same question. Why was a doctor changing in the nurses changing room? It seems to have been established that doctors & nurses routinely have separate facilities, so why would Dr Perv be using the nurses room anyway?
In order to intimidate the women and force them into going along with his delusions, as far as I can see anyway. Interesting that it doesn't seem to have been pointed out to him, at any stage, by the handmaidens, that there were superior facilities in the A&E area, where he worked. Nor did any of them appear to query why the duck he was using the nurses changing facilities. There was such a rush to validate him and his hurty feelys that all common sense and indeed biological reality was thrown aside with very reckless abandon. It's great to see it coming back to haunt the lot of them now.

Imagine the cut of him going to work every day, in his bra, and coyly turning his back in the women's changing room. 🙄🤢

We have an adversarial legal system so counsel will introduce all sorts of weird and irrelevant tit to plant the idea in the mind of the judge, panel, or in criminal cases, the jury, hoping they'll make their own inferences. In this case, that SP is a bigot who is mean to anyone different from her. It's bleeping nonsense, of course, and at no point has Upton been held to the same standard of scrutiny, by the court or NHS Fife.

And they wonder why the NHS is a shambles!
I think this is a lot of the problems with the whole of the NHS - middle management & those above and performative box-ticking etc

My mum was recently visiting my great uncle in hospital and noticed a huge bloke in a nurse uniform bustling around the ward. Her uncle said ’he’s the only one who wears a dress it’s cause he’s a man, it’s disgusting it should be stopped’ my mum said every other nurse was in tunic and trousers but him in his dress and he was indeed the only man. My mum is a TERF anyway but she said seeing him for herself made her realise exactly just how scary and intimidating it must be for women when one of these comes to give personal care. She swears he was getting aroused by wearing a dress.

I found this particularly spiteful. A woman trying to navigate supporting her child coming out, asking (what she thought was an experienced friend) for a heart to heart chat, and probably some advice.
Only to be purposefully misconstrued as 'possibly being a bit homophobic'.

All from people who work caring for people. Shame they couldn't apply that to their 'friends' instead of rushing to judgement and condemnation.

And she's probably deliberately misconstrued the intent. Someone at work i fully believed to not be a bigot in any way admitted that she would be upset if either of her children was gay. I was shocked thinking this was a bit homophobic but before I could challenge her, she explained that she wanted her children to have the easiest and loved lives, and if they were gay, there would be people hating them for no reason and they would be discriminated against. Whilst I dont agree with her sentiment and wouldn't have felt upset if my child had come out as gay, that wasn't a bigot talking. That was a mother scared of what this harsh world might do to her babies. I bet Sandy expressed something similar and its been taken the wrong way, either deliberately or by lack of understanding.

They're running out of / have no arguments, which is why they're making cheap shots about Sandies views. I'm surprised the judge is allowing it, it's unrelated to the case being debated.
