In order to intimidate the women and force them into going along with his delusions, as far as I can see anyway. Interesting that it doesn't seem to have been pointed out to him, at any stage, by the handmaidens, that there were superior facilities in the A&E area, where he worked. Nor did any of them appear to query why the
duck he was using the nurses changing facilities. There was such a rush to validate him and his hurty feelys that all common sense and indeed biological reality was thrown aside with very reckless abandon. It's great to see it coming back to haunt the lot of them now.
Imagine the cut of him going to work every day, in his bra, and coyly turning his back in the women's changing room.
