It’s because this ‘man’ was the first to do it naturally! 🥳
Freddy had artificial insemination with donor sperm.

Amazing isn’t it? Woman has unprotected sex with a man and gets pregnant naturally and it makes front page news!

I imagine Mirror only care about the clickbait headline. Hopefully it peaked a few more people.
Oh god is that the reason? Heterosexual sex? I never would have realised 😂

I love this thread and it really crystallises the argument for me that the only way to set things up is to just keep men out, full stop. It's not a toxic debate, it's not tricky and there's no nuance or third space needed, just keep men out.

I know he has watched a colleague struggle hugely before they came out as transgender (mtf) and thinks that the poor guy has enough problems as it is.
I wonder if that colleague immediately needed access then to the women's toilets and changing rooms?

Sorry, I'm not picking at what you posted, but this is my constant argument. Why can't these men (cos they ARE men even when they try to pretend they are women) continue to use the men's facilties, and why can't the men be told to 'be kind' in order that these poor dears 🙄 can do so?

Answers on a postcard. ☹

Nono, I totally get what you mean and in this particular case, it was a very slow transition, starting with e.g. growing hair out and I know my bf said at one point he noticed the colleague wearing a bit of make-up, but didn't think much of it, still looked very male. I doubt he'd have entered women's toilets from the get go, but we all know that not everyone is like that. This case took a couple of years apparently but we've seen the issues of people deciding between their morning coffee and shower that they're a woman all of a sudden.

I peaked most of the rest of the family with a picture of a stunning and brave "girl" playing the family's favourite sport.

Absolute state of him. He says he's not a very good player but he still sees fit to take a space on the team that should rightfully be held by a woman. Typical entitled man.

He shouldn't ever be using the women's toilets though. Ever. He is a man, and should continue to use the men's facilities.

The cut of him. And I'm sure he uses the women's changing facilities 🤬. Fcuking hell. This is what will stop girls and women from becoming involved in sports. It's disgusting.

I have two nieces who play sports, the older one played at county level at one point. They have worked extremely hard, both of them to get to where they are. I dread the day I hear a man has taken their place on a team because he is a woman now.

They're never a slightly built young man, are they?
Nope and even if they were, they still have the advantage of a male puberty. He seems like a complete narcissist - he mentions several times about wanting to leave a legacy in sport 🙄 At the time the article was written he was a 30 year old Italian who came to Ireland two years previously. The only reason he's on that team is because of his biological male advantage. He hasn't been playing since school or worked his way up the leagues like the women have. He saw an easy opportunity to 'win' and grabbed it.

I've posted this photo before. This is the very first time that this man has left the house "presenting as a woman". I don't think he'd taken any steps towards transitioning, simply told his wife then gone out with her. And this is the photo he posts. I swear that along with the many fetishes, invading our spaces is seen as a trophy by some.

1st day out pretending to be a woman.jpg

Even if he had taken HRT and had surgeries he still doesn't belong in our spaces of course.

Neanderthal in a bad dress. He's butt weird and I rather go behind a tree than have this thing near me in a bathroom.

No shade to Neanderthals, I'm sure they never had 'dysphoria.'

Naomi Cunningham is representing the claimant for the Newman v Met Police tribunal this week.

Not clear who exactly today’s witness is but definitely a GC person. Today’s session (only started this afternoon).

It doesn’t matter if they’re built like a brick shithouse or a ladyboy, a nice guy or a thug, had their pen turned into a hairy windsock or still packing their meat and two veg they are MEN.

The comments under the article on FB were not buying it at all. There was a few fawning but the vast majority were "No, you're a woman"

I'm not familiar with this case. I've hit the gist of it and it looks interesting, thanks Tof.

Amen Amen Amen.
The idea that some should be allowed in because... makes my hair stand on end. They are MEN. Women, down through history, fought hard for rights, all sorts of rights. And now they are being eroded left, right and centre. It's depressing.

BIB

He joined a women's rugby club in Dublin but left when they wouldn't let him into the ladies dressing room - then joined the ladies GAA.

The LGFA didn't put this policy to a membership vote - it was some sort of backroom agreement - believed to be at the behest of clubs sponsored by AbbVie, who manufacture puberty blockers - a senior management member of AbbVie is married to Helen McEntee, Education Minister
