I have a daughter coming up to 10. The idea of a child of that age coming out as gay is just bizarre to me. A child with no concept of sex or romantic relationships? I’m not saying it’s not possible to have an inkling that you’re same sex attracted at that age, but to “come out” and have your mother tell the world so you have no chance to actually go through puberty and figure stuff out... no.
I think Angelina Jolie did it right with Shiloh- Angelina never made a public comment (as far as I know) about Shiloh’s sexuality though there were reports that Shiloh wanted to be called John. They let Shiloh dress however they wanted, have their hair cut short. Now Shiloh is growing their hair out and wearing earrings. And Angelina and Brad have never made a comment on their child’s gender or sexuality. Maybe Shiloh will be transgender, maybe they will be a tomboy, gay, straight, whatever. But it’s up to Shiloh to decide and inform the world when they are ready. It’s not up to anyone else.

even to include trans men, how many trans men suffering with gender dysmorphia are going to become surrogates and carry and birth a baby? For someone else? These changes of language are just pointless because who does it even apply to?
This is something I don't understand with trans men having babies so we now have "birthing parent" "chestfeeding" etc, if your gender dysphoria is so horrifying that you need to transition and live on hormones for all eternity - why do the most female thing you can possibly do and have a baby? Obviously pregnancy/childbirth doesn't make you more a woman than women who don't, but it certainly is a female act. They cry about being deadnamed/mis-gendered but pregnancy is ok.

I don't get it. A trans male surrogate would send me into cardiac arrest 😭

where do I even start? 18 months? We had to do something so we called the GP? No you didn’t? Had to do something about what exactly? Cannot stand the fawning from Holly and Phil who asked no real questions
Just got around to watching this clip and I am ready to rant. The parents do nothing but reinforce stereotypes, they even admit to it in so many words in that video. I bet they were expecting their daughter to be all pink and princesses and were surprised when she wasn’t, subconsciously they will have been pushing this idea on their child. They were on the money when they said their kid just wanted to be like her big brother, that’s likely exactly what it is! Young kids like to mimic others, especially if it’s someone they look up to like an older sibling. It’s totally normal behaviour and how they learn about the world. All this child has learnt is that stereotypes determine your gender and that is harmful.

The mum seems obsessed with her child’s hair. So what if she doesn’t want long hair or pig tails? Many girls don’t. So what if she doesn’t want to play with stereotypically girl toys? Or wear stereotypically girls clothes? When are we going to stop putting little kids into these boxes and stop dividing toys and clothes into ‘boys’ and ‘girls’? I have 2 girls but you look at their toys and there’s a good mix of things, I don’t believe in only giving children certain toys based on their sex.

And what is this obsession with hair length? And with picking out a ‘trendy’ barbers for her totally boyish son? Is it just me who thought she was weird? Girls can have short hair and boys can have long hair, it’s really not a big deal. She really didn’t need to tell the barber her kid was trans, I’m sure he won’t have been the only little boy coming in with long hair after lockdown. It’s so cringe, they are already parading this child like a show pony and the kid wasn’t even there to have their say.

As for saying their child isn’t confused, I think “knowing he has a vagina” is a pretty confusing statement. And of course there was the obligatory Mermaids mention, I despair I really do. Save these children.

Edit; they also refer to transing their child as ‘taking a risk’ which just says it all.

Demi Lovato needs to take a couple of years out of the spotlight. I don't see things ending well for them. An addict who says they are 'only' drinking wine and smoking the occasional joint is not in a good place and is not in recovery. This latest virtue signalling stunt is simply replacing addiction to hard drugs and booze with addiction to publicity. I hope not, but I can see her overdosing again.

Personally I'm waiting for Jameela Jamil to come out as NB, I'm surprised she hasn't yet, especially as a lot of NB women have a very feminine style.

I have known trans women in the past who are a million miles removed from the current lot. They felt like they were living a lie, and just wanted to feel comfortable in their own skin. They were just doing their thing, not aggressive, not attention seeking or demanding. The generation now, and coming up, are aggressive, attention seeking, entitled, self absorbed, part of a cult almost. It’s like they can’t stand to be ignored, they want maximum respect whilst trampling down women’s hard fought over rights. That would be bearable if the rest of the world was not kowtowing to their antics. It’s laughable/scary what is happening in women’s sport. They have got too much time on their hands. A lot of people have had their eyes opened in the last year. And at some point, enough will be enough.

I wonder whether Demi Lovato will peak a few more people, because it’s so obviously social contagion.

Everything with Demi seems like a cry for help between the non-binary announcement and the overdoses. She doesn't seem mentally well.
Is it possible to come out as non-binary and NOT have mental health issues? And I don’t say that to mock mental illness, I just can’t imagine a secure, mentally healthy person rejecting themselves and attention seeking like she is.

Demi Lovato. Rolled my eyes so hard at that one, not remotely surprised, she’s done a duet with that fucktrumpet Sam Smith.

She couldn't do his nails because she is Muslim. As the manager pointed out if gender identity beliefs are to be respected the same should apply to religious beliefs

See, I feel like only in the past 5 years or so have schools and parents been starting to stress to kids the importance of consent, not just in terms of sexual relations when older, but younger kids learning that they should feel empowered to deny aunties and uncles kisses on cheeks, or hugs etc if they wish to, as a way of learning about boundaries. Now, kids are highly likely to be learning about "girldick" and "manginas" or whatever and are likely to misunderstand clear boundaries. It seems people, straight or lesbian or gay or bi are being shamed for their sexuality, i.e. on the basis of biological attraction. Are we really telling kids that if you only like male genitals, or only female that you are a hateful person? That they have no right to object to a "surprise" when getting intimate? That they can't say no? It's bloody sick, this.

Where are the boundaries any more? Where is the freedom to choose without backlash?
Where is the clarity for the kids right now who have grown up the past few years only hearing this mishmash of manipulative rubbish?

I think we can guarantee this will come crashing down in the next 5 years when the number of operations gets beyond manageable rates, when people are sacked every day for not stating pronouns, etc. Some may say we are perhaps hyperbolic but I don't think we are. This is about people maiming themselves, being groomed into distancing from parents, being citizens who can't cope with a morsel of criticism, who call for cancellations and retribution against people who refuse to capitulate etc. This is escalating and it will result in medical and legal scandals. It's absolutely bonkers.

The last one actually raises a great point - if women can have penises and men can have a vagina then why do people need to have complex surgery to change gender?

House of Commons, DVLA, Dorset Police and the Ministry of Housing and Local Government all leave Stonewall

(Sorry, can't get the full text of this one, I don't have an account.)

After Nancy Kelley, the head of Stonewall, likened gender critical beliefs to anti-Semitism I think we may see an avalanche of organisations distancing themselves now.

I internally cheer whenever I see the word ‘woman’ in an article now; this is NOT normal! I tried explaining it to my bf and said imagine if you were told you had to say/write your sexuality after your name because a tiny group of gay activists said so. And then the world start doing it and you’re called homophobic if you choose not to. Obviously would never happen in a million years. I’m actually fed up of hearing about trans stuff, pronouns, morons who have massive beards and clearly men with he/him after the name Adam ffs... it feels like the walls are closing in and it’s horrible.

I could be wrong but personally I think that the Only Fans crew do it because in their head it's easy money and because they have been sold the lie by liberal feminism that sex work is empowering
