I think I might have found my calling. Politely and annoyingly questioning organisations who spout nonsense. I've been looking for a new hobby anyway. If it makes just one person go "actually maybe she has a point" it'll be worth it because as we all know, once you see it, the whole house of cards comes falling down. I encourage everybody to join in. It's tricky to avoid using pronouns while doing it but it's worth writing it that way so you don't play by their rules.

Omg. In a Facebook group someone has posted for advice because they are concerned about a child they know who’s living with a ‘trans’ parent, flat is absolutely filthy and unhygienic, and parent does the school run in mini skirts and latex crop tops. In the comments they’re being ripped into for being ‘judgmental’. Yet if it was a woman with a filthy flat and inappropriate clothing on the school run you could bet the comments would be different. But because it’s a holy trans, they can do no wrong 
I had a dream that really annoyed me. I think most of us would happily strip off in front of our daughters but not our so sons and I’ve woken up wondering how many Mothers of these ‘women’ would happily undress in front of them?
LWS are going back to Nottingham on the 28th March 4 to 6pm. As it happens I have annual leave that week so, given what happened at the last Nottingham event, I think I'm going to go along. Hopefully lots of others will feel the same and we can show up in far greater numbers.
I'll also be going to the London one on the 30th March.

Would women even need to bother with the suits and ties? It's all about the feelings isn't it, so we could just say we feel like a man and are therefore using all the men's facilities.

I'm at the age where many of my friends have given / are giving care to elderly parents. Most of us say that we've felt awkward helping the opposite sex parent if it involved said parent stripping off. Not only that, the parent has felt awkward too. Although we've tried to avoid the situation by having carers of the same sex to help, there's times when we've had to step in and we've discussed ways to minimise the embarrassment.
Even though I gave my elderly mother a lot of assistance in her final years, if her carer was with her and she was undressed I kept out if the room unless needed. It was about giving her privacy and dignity, without an audience.
I think it only works the other way round. Men can just say they feel like a
lady but women must go to extreme lengths such as double mastectomy and taking cross sex hormones to be allowed anywhere near male spaces (and even then will still be seen as "other"). I have literally no idea why this might be the case. Unless..? No, that can't be right. It absolutely can't be the case that the world just panders to the male of the species in every circumstance. Can it?

I do hope Girls That Rave get back to me, I need to know their stance on whether AFAB non-binary folx are welcome at their events. Obviously they don't identify as female so that's a big cross in the do-come-in-and-enjoy-some-hardcore-nose-bleed-techno column but they are actually female so that's a tick in the female-only column. Goodness it's very confusing isn't it?

There seems to be a thing going around on Threads (not that I use it really) of people essentially quote tweeting (quote Threadsing???) “Trans people exist. Trans people deserve to be safe.” but given the not infrequent news stories of trans people (usually TIMs) committing awful crimes what about “Women and children exist. Women and children deserve to be safe”? Oh right because it’s oppression Olympics and according to morons online males pretending to be women are more oppressed than actual women. Pleeeeease can they start logging off, go touch some grass and think critically for 10 minutes.
