Unbelievable. NHS Fife are a bunch of vindictive fuckers. I’m beyond annoyed about this now. How does anyone in healthcare put a senseless ideology over scientific fact? Theodore is a man, I‘d love for them to explain in what way he’s a woman. He’s absolutely no different anatomically from any other man, and just because he’s got some weird fetish or delusion, how on earth can they enforce anyone else having to go along with a blatant untruth? They have already shown how incompetent they are too. How can they even do this when the tribunal case is still active?

OT but Emma Raducanu played a match yesterday and was in tears at some point. Turns out that her Stalker had approached her on Monday and was in the crowd for her match on Tuesday despite a 5 year restraining order. The WTA released a statement that read that a Man exhibiting fixated behaviour!!!
He is a Stalker end of, if people weren't so obsessed with toning down language so they don't offend anyone, we wouldn't be in this mess.
I'm constantly seeing gender instead of sex. I even saw it in an ad for a fucking Horse.

ETA on rereading it, it doesn't appear to be the same person as her original stalker but the point stands. Don't call it a wishy washy fixated behaviour.

I still have not caught up on all todays goings on, but from what I have seen so far Naomi Cunningham was totally on fire, I did notice how Dr Upton's answers were much shorter than on previous days when being asked to respond factually re timelines, emails etc. He did try to sneak in the odd "it depends how you look at it" or many "I don't recall", even a few "that's not in my remit" type of answers.
Without the ability to try to engage in his never ending word salad and gender war bingo words he suddenly became a bit less willing to engage.
The only downside was that we could not see the little creep squirm in his seat as Naomi played the slowly slowly catchy monkey game of chess with him.
Heres hoping that they sort out the technology by July when there will be much much more interest in how this is all going to play out.
We are hopefully in the final chapters of this utter madness that has taken such a toll on so many lives. So many children mutilated, women forced out of jobs or told to put up and shut up. Families torn apart and organisations so captured that they are in a state of paralysis, tongue tied and twisted in their efforts to make the impossible make sense.
Hats off to Sandie for having the courage to take this on, I hope that she knows the strength of feeling and support she has now and forever.

The doctors who perform these operations are actually a lot like the many medical professionals from history who conducted gruesome experiments on children. They weren’t doing anything wrong per se, as the states and regimes gave them a green light. Still, it’s a crime against humanity, not 'gender care' or whatever twisted term some individuals in our society are calling it. They want to normalize this… we shouldn’t let them. The consequences are devastating. Leave the children alone, and go mutilate yourselves! I don’t have kids yet, and I’m literally scared of what kind of world they’ll grow up in if I have them in the future.
On a slight tangent, I've always thought the line "denying trans people healthcare" is really disingenuous. It sounds as if being trans means you get removed from GPs' patient lists and struggle to get treatment for broken bones or illnesses.

When I was 15 or 16 a man took it upon himself to masturbate in front of me and making very explicit gestures in public transport. Was too shocked to do anything about it.
When this sort of thing happens in public, why do you think I’d be more than alarmed to find them suddenly in spaces that are meant for only women???
Similar (and other very unpleasant things) happened to me also when I was a child - and as you say, they shock is paralysing. You just can't react.
I was assaulted and choked almost to unconsciousness once in my early teens and I really thought I was going to die. I was totally powerless - my assailant was an adult man who was considerably stronger than I was. It has had a lasting legacy in that whenever I am threatened I just freeze - I can't react, even to run or scream - my throat just closes up - and I go into a state of shock which can last for weeks and on a recent(ish) occasion (where I wasn't in any real danger, but which gave me such a huge flashback) for months. I'm like an automaton, just going thought the motions of life and occasionally bursting into tears. Lots of nightmares. The incident also left me with a phobia of certain situations - fortunately usually easy to avoid - though what pushed me over the edge the last time was when someone intentionally overstepped a boundary because they thought it made themselves look clever and fun.

I do not doubt that there are many, many women and girls who have experienced similar and much worse. It never leaves you, ever.

The "Lambrini Girls" were on woman's hour today. I have already heard some of their shite on 6 music, they were banging on about solidarity with transwomen. And they have a song called Terf Wars. Here are the lyrics.

You think you can get away
With shitting on other women
In upcale cafes
Justify your hate
With an Oxford education
Gender neutral toilets
are not the problem
This is not your space
Because this space belongs to all women
You're not a femmenist
Your a stain on this earth
Shut your stupid fucking mouth
You stupid fucking terf
With a head so far up your arse
You can escape the blame
Because you're upper class
Screaming your savourism
In marks and Spencer's
Appropriating femmenism
At your own volition
This is not your space
Because this space belongs to all women
You're not a femmenist
Your a stain on this earth
Shut your stupid fucking mouth
You stupid fucking terf
Absolving yourself
of guilt
As a self appointed martyr
You fucking narcissist
Harbouring resentment
With your warped tunnel vision
Gaslight girlboss gatekeeping
Their whole existence
It's not your space, this space belongs to all women
Shut your stupid fucking mouth you stupid fucking terf
Shut your stupid fucking mouth you stupid fucking terf
Shut your stupid fucking mouth you stupid fucking terf
Shut your stupid fucking mouth you stupid fucking terf
There's a reason your kids
aren't returning your calls carol
It's because you're being transphobic on Facebook again
Just have a fucking day off

That thing that never happens has happened again. Vile beast. MAN.
The legal definition of rape (spoilered below for those who don't want to see it) clearly describes something only a man can do... So why the fuck is the press saying a woman did this?

Excellent post, endorsed by Sandie's mum.

View attachment 3419001

"The thing that has me really appalled, is the sheer misogyny of the entire damned hospital management team. Here was an accusation of wrongdoing, clearly with very little substance, and with no third party to corroborate. There’s barely a pause: their response was to suspend the accused woman, on only the word of this man. "

That really is an excellent post, thanks for sharing it.

It makes me so sad how lonely SP must have felt at times during all this. She has spent her working life caring for people at a hospital and doing a damn good job and when she needs support all the higher ups throw her under the bus at the first chance.

We're told to stand up for ourselves and advocate but then when a woman actually does they're a troublemaker, a "karen" (God that term makes my blood boil), a bitch etc. We're told about womens intuition but then when a woman feels uncomfortable with a man in their space and verbalises it they're punished.

Upton and the rest of them move the goalposts constantly claiming women who felt uncomfortable should have talked with him directly but then when a woman does she is suspended for months. There is no way to actually talk about these issues while using the "approved" language.

I should feel sorry for Bumba, Searle etc that they will now have months of anxiety waiting before they have to testify in June/July but they did the same to SP suspending her for months and leaving her career in limbo.

Rhetorical question but why choose men like Jennner and that useless Mulvaney as Woman of the year?
There are women in my county that have gone through hell like being horribly burnt in a bushfire or had young children been killed by a father. Just two off the top of head who've been through something most of us can't even think about.
The first thing these women do is start campaigning and meeting with other women to support them.
It's not even a crying shame, it's infuriating.

Someone on MN raised a good point - look at how long it took Lucy Letby to get suspended, a nurse accused of murdering babies, compared to SP, who only objected to getting changed in front of a man.
Yep she was initially moved to admin duties in a different department in July 2016 but wasn’t actually suspended until her first arrest in July 2018. On full pay until she was charged in 2020.

Oh and in that period she was on admin duties she was allowed to go work in another hospital too, apparently supervised but still had direct contact with patients.

The contrast is stark.

Won’t protect the newborn babies from potential death but must protect the grown man in the dress for hurty feelz.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm so tired of this shit. I've never known anything like it. These people have literally fabricated any entire movement and an enemy that didn't exist.

I don't give a fuck how anyone lives their life, and yet this is constantly interpreted as "you hate transgender people and want them all dead". It's fucking insanity. Me not participating in someone else's self image doesn't mean they cease to exist or I wish them harm - imagine the power 😂.

It's just exhausting. The constant, unrelenting logical inconsistency and DARVO from a movement that cannot even agree on a definition what it means to be "trans" and so obviously hates women.

I remember when the Internet was new and there was the hope that it would be egalitarian and give a voice to people who might not be otherwise heard, but all it seems to have done is create a platform for a lot of very loud and not very bright men, be they TRAs or the Andrew Tates of the world. They're all different varieties of the same thing - misogynist who think they get to define what women are, what we think and how we should behave.

It's like arguing with a fucking goat. You're never going to get an intelligent answer from it, and by the end you're frustrated and it's still a goat screaming the same incoherent noise in your face. No offence to goats. It's exhausting. But me being who I am, I can't jut block it out and not think about it because someone has to stand up for women. All being well I've a fair few decades ahead of me and women can and will lose their rights as quickly as we gained them in the very, very recent past if we're not even allowed to define the material reality of being female on this misogynistic shitshow of a planet.
Totally. What really, really gets to me is the push that biological sex isn’t real. Of course it is! The whole purpose of any species is to continue its existence and that’s exactly why male and female exist. It’s such a fundamental scientific fact, but gender ideology denies reality and tries to push their lies on us. I think the majority deep down know it isn’t true, which is why there is no argument permitted and instead if challenged they hurl insults and threats because it’s all they’ve got. They are bullies. There is no rational behind it. However, some people are unbelievably stupid and if you told them the moon was made of green cheese, they’d believe it.
It’s the way though that this ideology is being forced and pressed onto us from all sides that’s so scary. Why are so many organisations and public bodies meekly accepting and bowing to something that clearly isn’t true? How have such a tiny group of people now forcing every single thing to be all about them? Can you imagine if everyone was suddenly being pushed to, say, go to church or convert to a different religion? There would be an outcry. Yet, tell people that male and female doesn’t exist in any biological basis and what’s in your head matters more and everyone just seems to accept it without question. To me, it’s as crazy as flat earthers but far more dangerous.

I absolutely agree to the class divide. And also that one was a doctor, sacred protected class who is endowed with massive privilege in the NHS, and the other was a nurse, workhorse of the NHS and perennially under appreciated.
I've got a suspicion that the management, and possibly even Uptonogood, would have reacted differently if it was a very young female nurse who objected. There's a really strong undercurrent of ageism against older women behind most transactivism.

Yeah, it used to be well known and acknowledged that (a) transvestism was a paraphilia and often associated with crime (serial killers and serial sex offenders often have some cross dressing in their history) and (b) voyeurism and getting your bits out in public is a strong indicator of moving on to more serious sex offences.
Yet, now any suggestion of this is likely to get you labelled as a bigot. It's fucking mind blowing.

The fucking state of it! I couldn’t even get through the video:

Such self involved tripe. No sweets, the neighbourhood boys don't love your boobies they think you're a delusional freak, so do a lot of people - even the ones who cheer you on.
And guess what most of us don't hate you, we pity you because you've spent so long thinking about yourself you can't see this for the nonsense it is.
Oh goddess, I am just so done with this shit. How on earth did this madness take hold? Honestly if it wasn't for these threads I think I'd go mad. I was so sad when I thought Tattle had disappeared because this is my outlet to explore my (rambling, incoherent) thoughts about all this stuff and to actually find some humour in it. Thanks tiny people in my phone who I'll probably never meet, you keep me sane.
(Well that last few lines reads like I've been drinking and have reached the you're-my-best-mate-you-are levels of pissed. I do apologise and I promise I haven't necked half a bottle of unspecified local booze bought in a foreign supermarket to rid myself of the last of my currency. But then again I would say that, so maybe it's a lie)

In the Twitter circles I used to move in all the trans people I knew and was friends with were also unpacking a lot of shit from their childhood and had at least one diagnosed mental illness, which I think tells you everything.
Doesn’t it make SENSE when you’re dealing with a whole heap of trauma, to “delete” yourself and emerge, reborn, into a new gender identity and name, to massive applause?

That’s the appeal: deleting themselves. It’s the closest thing to offing themselves without actually offing themselves.
