So if I understood all the acronyms - there was an initial investigation and the recommendation was the female changing room should be singles sex and SP was right, and then someone else decided that was wrong, overruled and we ended up with her being suspended. Why the change?

My son has come home with this book today and I thought the thread would enjoy it. This is not the whole book but you get the idea (I was worried where it would go in the first few pages but it’s brilliant)

I am definitely enjoying it far more than my son will 🤣

Adverse patient events should be reported on the NHS system (Datix) within 24 hours - the system will then escalate the report depending on the nature/severity of the event (from what I can remember - may have changed since in recent years).

Pretty much guaranteed the person who overruled has a trannie in the family.

one case in the UK where a woman that got physically attacked by a transwoman, I think the woman’s name was Maria? In her 60s? She was physically attacked and then there was a court case and although she won, she was not awarded full costs she would have been because she refused to refer to her male attacker that punched her square in the face as a she and the judge told her off and said he was reducing costs awarded to her because of her reluctance

( Sorry I know this is going back a bit in the discussion ).
It’s just horrendous. Not only are those judges compelling speech, they are actively forcing a VICTIM to lie in the witness box because hurty feelings and poor wickle men? 😡

Thanks all, I really appreciate the running commentary while I'm over here in the opposite Hemisphere.

Interesting topic re lying in court about actual sex. I hadn't thought of that before, I really think it's something that should be further looked into.
