Baby Spice would appear to have the new celebrity accessory, a trans identifying son. 🙄 Makes sense someone whose career was so defined by being pink and girly would assume that liking that makes you a girl. /s

No such thing as a trans kid, Emma.

I’m convinced the rate of trans kids amongst celebs is disproportionately high. I’d love to see some stats on this.

They didn’t answer your question because they couldn’t. You stated a fact. They just regurgitated the usual bigot/transphobe response to shut you down. I bet many other people actually agreed with you. But too scared of the backlash to speak up.

the “emotional labour to educate you” 😆

These two blokes are a couple of perverts being allowed to act out their kinks in public and drawing everyone else into it. How the hell did we get to a court setting (the truth and nothing but the truth) indulging these sickos?
When my best friend had to testify as a teenager against a relative who'd SA literally scores of young girls, including multiple generations in her family, she wasn't allowed cuddly toys and dummies. All the extra care she was allowed was me to sit and hold her hand in a waiting room, before she told a room full of strangers, one of whom would aggressively cross examine her and one of whom was her abuser, about deeply personal and traumatising events.

How can a so-called carer be a sad plonker who needs a cuddly toy and a dummy to testify about his fellow dummy sucking caree? It's such bollocks. My own carer/partner has to take notes, organise meds and appointments, advocate for me - tasks far beyond a dummy-sucking freak I'd imagine.

ALL men dressing up as women are suspicious in my opinion. None are ‘only living their lives’. They are either AGPs so are getting sexually turned on by dressing as a woman (even if they look like a fright) or have mental health problems. I have sympathy with those people but they need help, not given scope in law and society to push their issues into women and girls.

This isn't a political argument, it's isn't a polarised debate - it's purely factual. You cannot change your sex and, by allowing people to change their gender, we are left with this untenable situation. It's an open door for predators, perverts and bad actors. Maybe the government and senior civil servants did genuinely think it would be a few random trannies that changed gender and it would just give them some peace of mind. They clearly didn't factor in just how bloody perverted many men are and would be given the opportunity, how much pharma will profit from any opportunity and how much harm this can do to children and young people.

'Nervous to share this' 👉🥺👈

Oh diddums, poor handmaiden. Imagine how nervous any woman is entering a ward and wondering if there are men staying there? Abuse survivors, SA victims, women vulnerable after major surgeries etc etc etc...

OUR 👏 RIGHTS 👏 ARE 👏 NOT 👏 YOURS 👏 TO 👏 GIVE 👏 AWAY 👏

Had a very interesting convo with my 13yr old daughter today. We were talking about trans stuff and men in women's sport. She told me about a girl in the year above her at school who identifies as a male and opted to play in the boys rugby. They got injured so decided to go back to the female team! My daughter then said she actually felt sorry for the boys on that team as most of them have been brought up to respect girls and women but then are still expected to tackle them with force in contact sports. And then if they dont they are not playing their best game. I had honestly never thought of it this way, but she is so right!! We are telling boys not to harm girls but what are they supposed to do in these situations?
And if my 13 yr old daughter can see it, why can't grown adults???

I went to edit my post but think its too late now so can only quote.

Anyway, my post was quite light hearted but I was actually quite upset as I've been part of the group for 4 years and found it quite useful to be part and also enjoyed it!

I messged the admin afterwards and asked to confirm if the reason I had been banned was because I did not like the term cis.

They messaged back saying [attached]

What i don't understand is, they did not answer my question on what exactly did I say that was transphobic? I literally said I did not like the term cis!

And when they say people commented 'emotional' comments. I don't recall it. But also if they did, why is their opinion more valid than mine?? Why wouldn't they let me have a debate? I'm a decent person* and have never once tried to have an argument on said group

*cis-woman 🤪
Educate yourself. Do better. Be better. Feel better? Rights are not pie. Be kind. Why do you care, it’s not affecting you? You are obsessed with people’s genitals. Things that didn’t happen for 100. Cisterhood. And on and on 😡😡😡

I can’t remember if this was shared already, but I’ve just watched it all. I don’t know how anyone can argue with this. It blows my mind in particular that any lesbian would be accepting of a TIM as a one to their own. I can’t get my head around it at all.

What an excellent speech though. Not sure who it was that interrupted with wtte of ‘be kind’.

It was reading about the "cotton ceiling" that alerted me to the dodginess of the trans stuff. None of my lesbian friends, or my lesbian sister, would consider dating a man, so why the hell would they date one in a dress? Next thing THEY'RE the ones being told THEY'RE the bigots. Nope. Not having it.

I've left a few FB groups because of this. I got removed from a local group when they promoted a "Women's walking group", but declared that "all" women were welcome, including "non-binary women" (??). I couldn't help myself, and left a comment along the lines of "Surely if you're non-binary, you don't identify as a woman, so why would you want to join a women's walking group?" I got booted out of there before I could blink!
I've also been a member of what started as a very small group, which was originally comprised of a few of us (less than 50) who had posted some funny photos of everyday items "gone wrong" (it's hard to describe without outing myself!). It grew quite quickly by word of mouth, several of my friends and family joined. Of course, it then got taken over by the virtue-signalling SJW's, who had to make a comment about "Tory scum", "Brexit gammons", etc etc, on every post. Someone recently made a very innocuous comment about drag queens being "adult entertainment", and she received a full pile-on from the handmaidens. I don't know if she left, or was kicked out, but there was a very self-rightous comment from one of the admins, saying that "we don't tolerate terfs and bigots here" 🙄. I left that day.

This is also from Debbie. When was the school guidance she wrote issued ?

Like I said I find Debbies position reasonable. If she knows she's not female and believes in single sex spaces I don't find her a threat.

But again I'm happy to be proven wrong with anything more up to date than this where she advocates for males in female spaces ?
He has been asked numerous times if he has withdrawn the guidance he’s written for NASUWT and refused to answer

This is it: https://dera.ioe.ac.uk/id/eprint/33503/1/085066bb-c224-40de-b79e2a1358801ee9.pdf

Given he’s never publicly said he no longer stands by this, I can only conclude he does.

Hayton is a liar. He’s a man who believes in ‘trutrans’ - he doesn’t believe in self ID and thinks because he’s made himself a eunuch, he deserves a pass to womenhood.

He does not. Women are not men without cocks.

So opressesed he gets a table to spread out his make up on. Meanwhile I a pregnant woman stood for a journey whilst men in suits ignored me
I remember doing the daily commute when pregnant with my first 21 years ago. I often had to stand in the aisle holding on to a seat either side while men (and it was mainly men) buried their faces in Evening Standards pretending they hadn’t seen me. I was not as bolshy then as I am now and never said anything. However, one day, a woman standing near me exclaimed loudly, “It’s disgusting that you're having to stand while pregnant and not one of these people has offered you a seat!” The whole carriage went silent and there was the rustling of newspapers before the man in the chair right next to where I was standing offered me his seat. I’ve often thought about that woman who spoke up on my behalf.

I love JKR, I'm very grateful to her for everything she's done and her wealth and untouchability meant the conversations that needed to happen was smashed open and couldn't be cancelled back into its box.

I do agree with DH though that a nasty side has crept into JKRs tweets lately. In her 2020 essay she talks about knowing and loving trans people and is clear that her red line is that biological sex is real and that no one has the right to force us to say it isn't or to take women's sex based rights away.

There's a meanness and singularity to her tweets lately. I saw her use the phrase "cross dresser" during the week. And fine you might think that manager/referee looks a state but again as Debbie said football management is already open to any gender and there's no advantage conferred here so why bother targetting him ?

I suppose it's the difference between trying to a have a nuanced level headed discussion about immigration versus using derogatory terms about migrants to make your point.

I don't believe gender identity is real, but I also don't believe in flinging slurs at anyone who believes they are trans. A football manager who wants long hair and a woman's name for me comes under "who cares". It's not in the same league as Leah Thompson and when you refer to trans people as cross dressers you make it easy for the GC crowd to decry you as just a bigot, rather than someone whose quite rightly standing up for women's rights.
Perhaps JKR is making the point that this appointment, which is at level 5 of the English football pyramid, only made headlines because of his trans status. Quick poll. Can anyone with out googling name the manager of Saltdean United Women's team, what about Dorking Wanderers, another opponent. Hell be honest, without Google can anyone even name the other teams in the division?

These women turn out week in week out mostly unpaid and unappreciated. Yet the London and South East Women's Premier Division suddenly becomes news worthy because of a bloke in a dress?

This makes me so mad. When you’re a teacher, it’s not about YOU. It’s about the kids, always! You have to leave your ego at the door and make the kids the priority.
Exactly. When I was at school we knew nothing about our teachers except their names. They taught the class and didn't talk to us about their private lives. I have no idea to this day who was straight or gay out of my teachers.
Why is it now accepted that teachers will talk openly about their sexual preferences?
This is just plain wrong.

Just seen
No one should have to live in fear because they are female. Women should not have women only spaces taken away from them.
Women and girls should be able to use toilets without having to worry about sharing with men. They should be able to call out any men using them without fear of being ridiculed and dismissed as transphobic.
Women should be described as women in health care and not reduced to being named according to functions and body parts.
Women should be able to access intimate care from actual other women and not men “identifying” as women.
Lesbians should not be forced to date creepy men identifying as women. Men cannot be lesbians and lesbians do not have penises. Ever.
Being a woman is a biological fact, nothing to do with appearance, wearing make up, dress sense hair length or any other hideously outdated stereotype.
Sorry, I’m so fed up of all this constant pushing that women are bigots/hateful dangerous or whatever else they try to call all of us that believe biological sex is real and absolute and women’s rights matter.
Rant over

I posted the other day about an ex colleague who’d gone to work in a school for kids with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health difficulties). I asked what kind of issues there are, she said lots of trauma etc, ‘lots of gender issues’. They’re not there FOR that but it’s a side effect I guess. She asked if I would consider working there. I said I don’t agree with child transitioning esp not autistic girls wanting to be boys so no, prob not the place for me to work. Didn’t hear back and checked the other day, she’s blocked me! This is a sensible, middle aged woman with kids who is an amazing teacher, and she’s obviously been sucked into it too 😭 No doubt at the school they just affirm, affirm, affirm as the children are already fucked up from multiple angles. No hope.
