I think it’s so clear that the whole TIM thing is nothing but a fetish when you realise it’s just a dressing up game to them. They love dressing up in short, tight or revealing clothes, high heels and caked in make up, but also love their dick even more. So many claim to be “lesbians”. No, they’re just weird straight men who like dressing up and still want to keep their favourite body part and have sex with actual females.

I have absolutely zero interest in sex, never have, never will but it’s something I consider private. People who know me in real life haven’t a clue as it’s no one’s business but mine. It’s not something I’d ever discuss with a doctor. Nothing to do with them, and I’m perfectly happy as I am. Stonewall can duck off, and I deliberately would not use the “A” word as I want nothing to do with the alphabet soup gang.

Last time I checked, the only thing you can carry in the UK for self defense is a torch. I got a Thrunite Archer 2A V3 which will temporarily "blind" you on the brightest setting. If you hold down the button it flashes, which makes it worse.

So basically us women are screwed then. I have no doubt that a bloke could easily fool a GP into thinking they feel like the opposite sex as let's be honest seeing a GP is get in get out as quickly as possible, it's easy to change your name on some documents and therefore get something down on paper. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Can’t be diagnosed by just a GP for GRC purposes. Has to be 2 reports from specialists in GD and be a GMC listed medic or HCPC listed psycholologist. They can’t just say they feel like the opposite gender and get a report. Only way to apply without a GD diagnosis currently is to have had surgery and even then it’s not guaranteed. All applications go to a panel.

I'm still not convinced, I'm really not. Look at some of the "doctors" who are quickly diagnosing teens with gender dysphoria. We only have to look at the recent blokes in women's prisons fiasco to see where this is all heading. Like someone else said previously, it seems like every group deserves protection except women.

Since we've had some progress in equality laws, and more awareness of what constitutes sexual harassment and consent and police forces now being less able to fob off women who've been victims of crime the way they used to, I see this as just another way for creeps to find a loophole to keep doing what they like to do.

So the gobshite in the canteen who'd brag about shagging you or giving you one can't do it any more or he'll be hauled into HR. But by identifying as female he can blindside you into an uncomfortable conversation that you don't want to have, forcing your boundaries and with the added protection he can stagger to HR in his stillettos and cry that you're a meany Terf who should lose your job because you don't feel like discussing tampons or period cramps with a bloke from work.

It's all boils down to them getting a kick out of dragging us, unconsenting into a sexual fetish they have. Except the differences is that the law prosecutes us if we object to it, and you get hunted out of your job, your life, doxxed and get death threats.

They 50+yo men who transition into women never want to look like women their age. They don't want to shop in M&S and pick up a nice challis blouse and matching cardi and some elasticated trousers. They want to look and act like teens, specifically teens in fetish style clothing. Brain rot from porn I think.
To be fair as an actual 50+ woman I don’t want to wear a nice blouse and elasticated trousers from M&S either, sounds horrendous. Certainly wouldn’t wear fetish style clothing either though as that sounds equally horrendous, pretty sure my mates would stage an intervention which doesn’t seem to happen in the cases you mention, would help a lot if it did though!

I'm in my 50s and I still dress similarly to how I did in as a student in the 90s (grunge/goth inspired looks with DMs or biker boots). I do buy from M&S but it's usually only their nightwear!

Anyway...speaking of men wearing their fetishes out in public..... 🙄

What an absolute joke. What better way to ensure that more women are in the senedd. What are they thinking?!

I’m also asexual, definitely not an incel and am gender critical. Not all us asexuals want to be lumped in with the alphabet /wifi password crew. Definitely not in the state it is now anyway.

And I’m 100% aware that we don’t face the same challenges LGBs do. I will never have to worry about travelling to any country and being arrested/facing abuse or worse for my lack of feelings of sexual attraction!!

Exactly. I’ve said before but as a teen I dressed what would now be classed as non binary style 😅 without even knowing it. Short hair, no make up, baggy T-shirts, baggy trousers. Never once questioned my gender, it was just my style and it was the 90s! We had more freedom then to be gender non conforming* as no one cared about labels. The obsession with labels and language is what is f*cling everything up and leading kids to medicalise their bodies when it’s literally just personal style.

Now as a woman in my mid to late 40s, I still hardly wear make up, I live in jeans, trousers and baggy jumpers and my husbands hoodies. And I have short hair on and off. STILL A WOMAN. STILL NOT QUESTIONING MY GENDER. Yet these internet freaks would label me a gender non conforming person. And those people can get to f*ck - I can wear what I like, still be a woman and guess what? I don’t have a gender identity! Yep you heard it, I don’t have a gender. I’m genderless (oh maybe I am non binary after all!). I’m a biological female that’s a fact but the rest is just me!

*not that this was even a phrase back then
Me too! I live in flannels T-shirts hoodies hiking gear and jeans. Still a WOMAN even though I dress like a lumberjack (pronouns = Tim/Ber)

I live in jeans and band T-shirts. Just ordered a new waterproof jacket in a man’s version because I can guarantee the women’s will be too short and tight and I’ll not be able to get my hands in the pockets 😁

My pronouns are me/tal

me too. or at least on the spectrum of it. i’m also not the other side of the coin to an incel, or in denial because no one wants to “shag me”. not gonna quote that post but it was kinda upsetting in the context of a thread that is usually fairly eloquent in how views are expressed.

👏🏻👏🏻 to the rest of your post. like you say, i face no day to day challenges or persecution from being asexual. beyond comments saying it’s me being in denial from no one actually wanting to be with me (as proven last page). there’s no need for it to be “protected” as implied. i’m thin-skinned; but i’ll cope 🤣

Men's stuff is better equipped but I find not designed for women's hips. This is why a TIM will often be lauded for looking great in certain clothing, they don't have the same figure so will have a flatter stomach (we tend to carry a little pooch to protect our uteruses) and more slender thighs (again, we have secondary contouring which gives us a higher percentage of body fat proportionally), men have narrower pelvises which gives the more supermodel physique in photos

There's obviously a variation in women's bodies but it's not like you cut off a dick and add some boobs and that's all the changes done.

Can anyone explain what is the difference between a) being asexual and b) being at the far left of the spectrum of sexual libido, where 0 is zero libido and 10 is permanently horny (obviously most people fluctuate throughout life anyway).

Why does it need a special name?

This.
DH (Darling Husband) has the best legs ever - long, muscly, slim ankle . Looks great in a kilt.😁
However - they are obviously male legs, could never be confused with female legs. Now remind yourselves (sorry) of Eddie Izzard in a short skirt. That.

I dont agree with most on here about transgender issues but I had the weirdest experience in the USA yesterday.

I am over here for a holiday first and then a medical conference. Met up with 6 lads from work to go to the conference.

We all already got our name badges. Some say Ms/Mr - surgeon. Dr for consultant, reg etc. When we where going in we had to show them our IDs. Five of the lads where ahead of me.

When they got to me they asked me my gender. I am a woman. I have a very girlie name. I was wearing a pink dress, heels etc. My passport says all my info and they had it all already.

I tell yas I was fuming. They didn't ask one bleeping male doctor but asked me. In front of a line of people.

If someone tells me they're not binary that's fine but I won't ask a patient or question it unless they tell me. I was absolutely fuming as they only asked me the woman and of course didnt dare question the 6 ft 2+ males.

Non binary is something I can't talk about in work btw 😂 gets me all the looks. No matter how many times I've read about it or discussed it, I just don't get it. It doesn't matter if you're the most masculine woman in the world. It doesn't make you non binary or any less of a woman. Some people would say I should give up my medical license for saying that ( honestly some would in endo 😂 ) but I can't cope with it 😂 still just can't wrap my head around it and don't think I ever will.

I know gender has nothing to do with clothes but I looked like fkn Barbie today and they asked me and not the men 🙂🙂🙂

I guess you could argue that our society is completely driven by sex. Everything from socialising to fashion to advertising is all about sex and fuckability. It’s assumed from secondary school onwards that people will start to have romantic and sexual relationships. People are considered deeply weird if they reach a certain age without having any sort of relationship.

“Asexual” is a far better descriptor than to have someone believe they’re a broken person.

I guess so, but equally never having been in a relationship doesn’t mean you’re asexual, and being asexual doesn’t mean you’ll never have a relationship (possibly with another asexual? Nobody outside the relationship would need to know).
