I watched Andrew Neil being peaked in real time on twitter. Fair play to him for acknowledging his blindness and his snippy response to being told he was a bit late. This is a big deal in the media for his platform and I hope more men take it on as well as all the women he mentioned.

Those pictures are 🤢 - one of the. Looks like that demogorgon from stranger thing 😳 why are surgeon even doing this? The whole article just explains very complex procedures with tons of complications and for what?
Also maybe i’m being naive but what happens with down there? Do they sew the vulva shut? Could that not create weird problems and infections?
Is this what progress really is? Mutilating people? And those arms!!! I thought they were mannequins 🤢

I can't think of many sports where someone born male has more of an advantage over women than rowing (possibly boxing?). Why is this even up for debate that it's massively unfair to expect women to fight for places alongside those biologically male?
I’ve watched a documentary (will try and link) and this poor woman got her head punched in in a boxing match by a TIM and i was revulsed by it, it was awful 😠

All of these affirming surgeries are grotesque mutilations. Cosmetic surgery can be horrific but it is intended to enhance what is already there. This is nothing like.

Here is the documentary I watched? It’s probably been posted and has been hard to watch at times but was worth it to reignite the fire, if needed

Fallon Fox if it’s the same case?? He fractured a woman’s skull to win. Her remarks after he beat her were:

I can only say, I've never felt so overpowered ever in my life and I am an abnormally strong female in my own right,” she stated. “Her grip was different, I could usually move around in the clinch against other females but couldn't move at all in Fox's clinch

His remarks after he beat her (tbf this was not specifically regarding her) online were:"There’s been three times where I’ve punched a TERF in the face. I think I hold the record. I’m the most based trans person on earth. #MMA #DontHate #TotallyLegal #TotallyWorthIt."

Yep. They absolutely SHOULD be freaking out at the sight of a pen in the women’s changing room because that is NOT NORMAL OR OK. 😡😡😡
Women know a naked pen in an unexpected place is something to be very afraid of. We all know this. And they want to teach girls to ignore their most basic survival instincts?

Arrrghhh, it finally happened to me for the first time. I was sent an email from someone that I'd just talked to from Co-op Legal Services: first thing I noticed was that the logo is in rainbow colours -does Pride Month never end now? - and then next to her name (she/her)

So annoying.

Yep that’s him, his opponent’s poor face afterwards 😡
I am not a fan and of boxing at all, it gives me a visceral reaction when I see it, but to watch a man punch a woman like that made me really angry 😡

The person in the reddit post has wound separation which is a surgery complication. It might heal or it might get worse. Always risk of infections.

This explains the whole thing better, but the images are very graphic and of real patients.

My god that sounds horrific and the images are sickening...I cannot understand why someone would voluntarily have themselves carved up for the sake of a Frankenstein pen that doesn't even work properly. I wonder if these people really and truly understand what they are signing themselves up for.

I wonder if they're incredibly naiive? As a regrettably heterosexual woman a functional pen is a bit of a non-negotiable... I can't comprehend what benefit a useless Frankenstein flesh sausage is to its owner or anyone else. They don't even look passable let alone anything else. It really is an utterly delusional movement where we're all supposed to suspend reality and adopt this magical thinking that one thing can be another if only we wish hard enough.

"Neovaginas" (they don't deserve the word "tina" anywhere near them to be honest) are by and large a bleeping monstrosity to look at but it's easier to amputate a body part than it is to fabricate an entire new one. I suppose.

I saw a documentary about gender reassignment surgery a fair while back.

The surgeon said it was easier to dig a hole than build a pole!!! That's what thr surgeons thought of them!!!

Good god. I am torn. The more horribly sad stories come out the better, but I feel so sorry for these poor confused and mistreated young people.

It is FGM for the first world.

I don't think it's just coincidental that most FtM transitioners have little or no bodily modification, but that that a huge proportion of FtM have at least mastectomies - it appears to be obligatory - and a large proportion have phalloplasties, too.

If "genitals don't matter" when it comes to being a woman or a man, why is this happening?

She’s spoken on Benjamin Boyce calmversation podcast, it’s well worth a listen, all of their stories are. I too feel torn listening to and reading them.

It’s that twisted mental gymnastic that is constantly required with this ideology, isn’t it?
and I do think vaginoplasty are performed too (actually googled and there about 3000 a year performed worldwide - couldn’t find one for phalloplasty) and that too sounds (I’ve not looked 🤢) horrendous.
We’ll see « who sits on the right side of history » when this madness ends, ☹

Amnesty in Ireland co-signed an open letter (2020). It has never retracted this statement and has continued to support TRAs on both sides of the border.

"This is what Amnesty did in Ireland, when it joined our power-drunk trans lobby, along with 26 other publicly-funded NGOs, to make this extraordinary demand in an open letter: ‘We call on media, and politicians to no longer provide legitimate representation for those that share bigoted beliefs.’"

ETA: an open letter to the Irish government
Catching up on a few days of posts currently, the linked article is a concise and well articulated read.
I was saying to my partner the other night how it’s mad that you get branded a bigot for believing that men can’t be women and vice versa, and having critical arguments against this ideology and all that comes in it’s wake. How stupid to be told you are bigoted for thinking laterally and realistically!

On another note I am currently reading:

Such flippancy is disgusting!

That is someone who doesn't care about the patient and is only thinking of their bank balance.
